Serenity Hill Bed and Breakfast

Homelike atmosphere, clean and cozy room+bathroom, friendly hosts with great conversation and really tasty breakfasts. Pretty garden with birdwatching and lots of hummingbirds. Wraparound porch with a nice view of the hillside. Peaceful.

Serenity Hill Bed & Breakfast was so quaint and peaceful! Beautiful and interesting decorating everywhere. Many complimentary snacks and drinks were available upon our arrival. Bill and Tina are AWESOME!! You couldn't ask for nicer hosts. AND the breakfast was wonderful! Thanks Bill and Tina, we hope to stop by again.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for two nights in the mid-February 2024 while visiting Mammoth Cave. It was low season and we were the only guests which was fine with us. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was quite adequate for our needs and slept well in the four poster bed. The owners were pleasant and talkative and provided us with a nourishing breakfast as requested. They have feline and canine pets which were unobtrusive and cute. If you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you as there are multiple offerings throughout the living and dining area to sample as desired. Location is good though the listed one mile distance to Mammoth is to the edge of the National Park and it is several more miles to the actual Visitor Center where one can access the cave tours. We did have to make a change in the timetable of our visit which was easily accommodated. We can recommend this establishment and suspect it would have been even better in warmer months when one could sit on the porch and enjoy the view

I came to Serenity by chance on December 28th, 2021. I stayed in the Garden Room, but didn't get to go out onto the balcony because it was yet to be finished. I didn't let that get me down though because there is a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom that I relaxed in. Bill and Tina are very nice and thought of everything. The Breakfast was and is just delicious. I happened to be homeless at that time and because of Bill and Tina, I am no longer homeless, they let me rent the cabin behind the house. Now, Bill and Tina are like family and I am so very Grateful to have them in my life. Thank you Bill and Tina, for making my stay as a guest the greatest, and then for making my stay at the cabin, like I am part of the family. If you decide to stay at Serenity, I will see you at breakfast and it is always the greatest...ask for the hashbrown casserole, it is my favorite...also, I built a patio off the side of the cabin that you are welcome to enjoy at any time... Please stay at Serenity because it lives up to its name!

I have never seen such a small room as the toilet and shower are in the bedroom closet. The parking is measured by a frickin smart car, please keep your suv in the lines! The driveway into the property is a one car at a time access and there is clear evidence that many people have bottomed out. Why in gods green earth do they think this place is worth so much , because of the bs take your shoes off before entering rule? Or is it that they obviously don’t care if a prison has bigger rooms. I would be ashamed to screw people over like this. Do yourself a favor and book a real hotel, and keep driving past this one.
