這個酒店真是留下了非常"難忘"的印象，酒店 好像是以前一個什麼舊建築改造的，環境很擁擠，去房間是一條蜿蜒曲折非常困難的道路，非常複雜……跟朋友的房間安排在不同層，但是必須做不同的電梯，還要帶着行李爬樓梯才能做到電梯…… 整個過程沒有任何工作人員協助，電梯樓層也是佈置的很詭異…… 房間還行，乾淨衞生，床很小，燈光裝修風格真的比較難以評價……地理位置還不錯，酒店早餐相對價格也是很一般

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh at Malmaison city for almost a week while in town for a wedding. The rooms were very comfortable & one room we stayed in had a stunning view of the bay (Firth of Forth I believe) that we enjoyed over espresso every morning. The team at Mal was wonderful too, from the restaurant to the front desk - they were are so kind and helpful! Also, we had the best room service we have ever experienced from their restaurant- pipping hot and so flavorful (we ordered the chicken three times throughout our stay). The location was also perfect an easy walk from the train station on arrival and around the corner from the tram to the airport! Not to mention steps away from so many attractions in the city - we went days in a row without needing a car. Thank you Malmaison!

Stumbled upon this hotel when changed plans for trip at last moment. My wife and I were there for 3 nights. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Although the exterior is a traditional townhouse style of multiple units being attached, the interior is quire modern. Our room on top floor was quite large (rm 1006). The staff could not be more helpful from front desk to restaurant to the bar. Breakfast was quite good with continental items and hot foods available. I think it was worth it to take the breakfast included option. Location is PERFECT. There is a tram which takes you to/from airport about 30 yards away. More convenient than the express buses which go to Waverly Station and less expensive than a taxi. It is about a 20-25 min ride from airport to St Andrews Sq. You are right off Princes street, 15 minute walk to Royal Mile or Calton hill, close to Botanical gardens and easy walk to Stockbridge and Dean Village. Caveat... Because of the way the buildings are attached, the elevators don't stop at every floor. You can ask to have a room that is on the same level as the elevator or you can ask for assistance with your bags to get them up the short flight of stairs to your room. Did not want to leave!

What I first loved about the Malmaison Edinburg City Hotel when I booked it was the location combined with the price. When I arrived early, I was warmly greeted by Dara at reception who was most kind & helpful. She invited me to unwind a bit from my long flight & brought me a lovely coffee. I was able to store my luggage while I walked around the area. The bartenders & staff (sorry I don’t have their names) were all great. My room was very comfortable and the food was very good. In fact it was the best hotel food I’ve had on this trip. I loved the decor of this unique hotel and highly recommend it when visiting Edinburgh.

We had a lovely afternoon on St Andrews square on the terrace seats at malmaison city. Made even better but the sun coming out and only one thing for it, some fizz. Great service from sorina, nothing was too much to ask for. We will be back to try the food!!

Had an afternoon tea today with two friends. A large and impressive range of goodies on offer - the mini hamburger and chocolate tart were particular stand-outs. Very attentive service from Diego. Would definitely recommend, very good value.

Spacy room, absolutely no noise, great view, excellent location - what else to ask? Well, there is also very friendly personnel and the restaurant that knows how to make a steak to perfection. Room 907 is probably the best one, and we were lucky to get it.

Food was great, steak was cooked well, the vibes were immaculate and the desert was amazing! Danny and Shona took great care of us, they were quick, attentive and gave good conversation. Went for a steak night so it was 50 percent off which is always great. Definitely will be back.

Lovely welcome by the blonde lady at reception. spacious room well equipped. Small issue in the bathroom resolved same day. Excellent location for waverley station all the sights and shops. The hotel have also partnered with st James quarter for 40% discount on car parking which was a big help. Would definitely recommend
