Winnetu is a 3-minutes' walk from South Beach and 3.2 mi from Main Street, Edgartown via resort shuttle bus or bike path. The resort seasonally offers 2 heated swimming pools, a health club, a complimentary children’s program, a complimentary tennis courts on-site and an on-site restaurant, The Dunes.
The Resort offers a selection of 1-4 bedroom suites, studios and cottages. Select rooms feature a kitchenette. Each room features cable TV, a private bathroom and air conditioning. They are decorated in crisp bright colors. All rooms have free WiFi. There is free parking on-site.
An outdoor hot tub, yoga, fitness center, concierge services, optional shuttle to ferries, shuttles to downtown Edgartown and massage services are available. Seasonal weekly clambakes, lighthouse and kayak tours, sunset cruise to Edgartown, bike rentals and day or overnight trips to our sister resort on Nantucket are also offered.
The on-site restaurant, The Dunes, overlooks South Beach and offers indoor and deck seating with fire pits and ocean views.

Beautiful resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and spacious room. Great anniversary weekend our first trip to Martha's Vineyard. Saw a lot of families with children - all ages. Food at Dunes Restaurant was great, and they allowed substitutions and help with dietary requests.

Our three generations of family (from age 6 to 75!) loved, loved, loved our recent stay! It's simply magical...from the location to the many (many!) amenities, and the staff, everyone in our family has plans to return. Edgartown is an enjoyable bike ride away; the beach is an enjoyable stride away. Book the Cape Pogue Cottage (Lilly Pulitzer) for a quintessential experience. We absolutely LOVED visiting The Winnetu! The resort is BEAUTIFUL and the staff are each AMAZING. Despite some bad weather we had a WONDERFUL time in Martha’s Vineyard. Tim the Concierge gave GREAT recommendations all around. Hope to return someday SOON. HIGHLY recommend.

Everything about our weekend stay was exceptional!The Cape Pogue cottage with the Lilly Pulitzer theme is adorable and was perfect for the 17th birthday celebration for my daughter and her friends. We had a wonderful time enjoying the resort and all the amenities— and the service was outstanding! From the front desk and check in experience to meals and cocktails at Dunes every detail was taken care of. Huge thank you to the whole staff for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable!! Anthony and Liz at Dunes were terrific and the front desk manager was wonderful- really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return!

The stuff was very nice. Food was very good. The show was very funny. The room was so spacious and beautifully decorated overlooking a gorgeous pool and a big hot tub. We would love to go back soon. Highly recommend and the activities were fun.

My husband and I and our best friends celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at the Winnetu. It is such a special place for us as our first visit was our 10th anniversary, and the magic of the Winnetu keeps bringing us back. We always go in September, and I think that's part of the magic as it is off season and you feel like you someday you have South Beach all to yourself. The staff are incredible, the Dunes restaurant is one of the best on the island, and the services and amenities leave you wanting for nothing. We hate to leave but feel so well rested and recharged when we go back home. Thank you, Winnetu

We stayed there for a week recently and had another great experience (our fourth time staying here). Everyone we met with who worked there could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The room was spacious and well laid out, the location is perfect, the grounds were beautifully landscaped, and we enjoyed being there. One of the things that struck me on this particular visit was the cleanliness of the resort. Everywhere I looked, from the grounds to the lobby, to the hallways and elevator, and the pool as well as our room, were immaculate. Their team does a phenomenal job treating their guests and keeping the place spotless and running smoothly, and we look forward to returning.

Staff was excellent. Super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. It was quiet. Poolside food was excellent. Love the convenience of the shuttle and free parking. Rooms were clean and well decorated. Beach and lawn view from the private porch was relaxing. Love the beach chairs they provide. Quick walk to the beach. Super chill in September and would return.

We are well acquainted with luxury hotels and 5-star service, but the genuine, wholesome, and lovely service at the Winnetu sets it apart from other Cape and Island resorts. It is perfection in every little detail. From Tony, a recent college graduate who picked us up at the ferry, to Sam graciously assisting us at check-in and check-out, to Grant, who was moving to Beacon Hill, Boston, in the fall to be closer to his family, helping us with our luggage as we checked out, the vibe was as of a stay at a friend’s estate on the Vineyard, rather than a resort. Friendly, peaceful, and laid back, they left no stone unturned in their effort to provide a personal, perfect experience. The Winnetu is flawless.
