The Ebrington Arms

Best breakfast i had in the uk, i had a room just abo e the bar what was really noisy , but I was so tired I had a good sleep. Evening dinner was medium ( i took seabrass filet ) , perhaps meat should have been better. Staff was very friendly

6 of us ate here on menu change day. We were on a family holiday in the Cotswolds and decided on the Ebrington Arms for our "meal out". We had all kind of made our choices before going, so the new menu was a surprise. However the food was extremely good and the service excellent. The knives aren't the best for pork chops, (which were lovely and tender) but you can ask for a steak knife. Personally my choice for dessert had been sticky toffee pud, but as it was not on the new menu I had the gingerbread sponge which was delicious.

Loved our stay at the Ebrington Arms, the room was clean and cosy, we had Sunday lunch during our stay and the full english breakfast, both were amazing! Really friendly service and a great selection of drinks. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

I have just spent 3 days in a B&B in the village and visited the Ebrington Arms every evening. The food was superb each night. However there are issues with the cask ales. On the first night my first pint was quite flat and had a nasty twang. The next 2 different pints were "ok" On the second night my first pint was cloudy, flat with no head and tasted awful. I asked the barman about it and he said it was fine, but he would go and check the cellar, coming back and said the barrel "had gone". My next pint was very average, but then I had 2 pints of summer solstice from the new barrel. They were very nice, as were the 3 I had the next evening.

We came for a short stay and dinner to celebrate a birthday. We have been here four times before over a period of many years. On arrival we were a little concerned that there were new owners since our last visit (previous ones being really good). No worries it turns out the new people have clearly raised the bar even higher. Welcome, rooms and bar all excellent as expected. We dined on the Friday night and had Chateaubriand for two. Well it turned out to be the best beef we have ever had (and we have been around the block). Great sourcing and excellent skill in cooking it perfectly. I had to go to the pass and tell the chefs myself.....it was supurb ! So nice when something is so well done, excellent food and first class service by ALL staff we encountered Guess we will be back again sometimes soon
