Wow this was the first time coming here and it was amazing! Lovely atmosphere, very tastefully done but rustic and romantic. Food was really, really good, my husband had pork belly bites on macaroni cheese (try it it was fab!) starter, then lamb with beetroot main, he said it was one of the nicest meals he's had, absolutely fell about and cooked to perfection! I had chicken in garlic, also very good. We are going again this weekend and also plan to book a Sunday lunch as heard it's one of the best around, book early though as it's hard to get in!!

We had a booking for 11 people. The service was great, food really good. Food came out at the same time, would def return if we were in the area. Believe it’s a b and b also!! Lovely looking pub, very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The food was ok but the beef pie and chips was very salty had extra chips and they were covered in salt.I have never known chips with salt already on unless it was from chips that as been collected from other tables and reserved??? not happy would not return rather have a takeaway.

Been here a few times with my fiancé as it is local for us. Never fails to impress us every time. Food is incredible, staff are great and they even decorated as it was Valentine’s Day when we visited! Free glass of Prosecco was also very nice☺️. There is no denying that it is pricy, but I would expect it to be with the standard of food they serve and the service that is delivered. Would 100% recommend to anyone who’s looking for a nice classy meal😊

One of the best places we’ve ever gone to ! Amazing service, amazing food, amazing decorations overall fantastic! Very good money for the quality of food. Everything was clean, organised and run well. The homemade nachos were incredible!

Amazing food, presentation expressed the chefs passion for his profession. Highly talented, everything cooked to perfection and each dish flawless...The Castle Inn offers a relaxed, comfortably cosy atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit and we will be booking again soon Thansk for a great evening The Castle Inn Team 👍

I would highly recommend you book here, the food and presentation was fantastic, attentive staff and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Check out their Facebook page for the menu as they change this regularly.

Best food around by far. My garlic chicken was the best ever I’ve tasted really enjoyed. My husband steak pie was stunning too. Lovely atmosphere recommend to everyone who wants lovely food. Wish you all the best

first time at the Castle Inn but not the last, the pub was very clean, the barman (proprietor) was polite and efficient, the food was cooked fresh and was delicious. my wife had the garlic chicken and i had the steak pie, the small squares of cheddar cheese in the steak pie gave it a unique flavour. It was nice to find a pub which is a class above the regular chain pubs. we'll definitely be back.
