The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable, even the settee bed, & the location is really convenient for access to the A1 & also to Bedford & Cambridge. However, it's the staff & the level of service they provided to us which stands out for me; it was quite simply excellent!! It's been a difficult time for us since early February with a close family illness & subsequent bereavement leading to four stays at this Premier Inn during February & March. Each time we were greeted by Andy, Hannah & another two ladies (I'm so sorry I can't recall your names too but hopefully you'll know who I'm talking about) & they were all so helpful with loaning an extension lead, moving us to a more suitable room & on the last night offering us the use of the bathroom in the next room as our bathtap had broken. As it happened we didn't need to use this but it was made clear that nothing was too much trouble for their guests & showed us that they truly understand the importance of great customer service. We had breakfast on one morning, the continental option, which was quite good but could be improved (in my opinion) by adding some eggs & some slices of cheese to the spread as they do in so many other hotels we've stayed at & who charge an equivalent price. The service from the staff on duty was very good but the toaster had definitely seen better days I'm afraid & proved to be very erratic.
