We had a lovely relaxing stay at The George Hotel. It was excellent value for money with comfy rooms and a very generous breakfast. It was clean, warm and let you go about your business with no concern. Easy to find and right in the middle of town so close to bus stops, cafe's and lots of lovely shops.

This is a lovely hotel 3* hotel. A bit dated but clean with lovely beds and pillows. Good position for the sights of Norfolk. Food was lovely, wel cooked and nicely presented. Staff were very friendly. Dogs are welcome for £10 per night Extremely reasonable prices.

Sadly the hotel needs renovation and the rooms are tired and scruffy. Gaffer tape over the carpets. Cleanliness of rooms is dubious. Check in was not the friendliest of welcome. The senior clerk was more interested in teaching a new member of staff

A nicely positioned hotel in the middle of Swaffham, quiet rooms but poor restaurant service. Cooked food was average and plenty of it. The hotel generally could do with a make over. Plenty of parking on site.

Was a nice stay and staff very friendly and welcoming . Good value too . Breakfast was really nice and fast service .

Booked evening Sunday meal after fairly long day travelling. Didn’t want too much to eat and so had familiar fall back - ham eggs and chips. We will never order this anywhere else again, this had to be the BEST ham egg and chips in the world ! Ham cooked by them, eggs gorgeously yellow and chips to die for

Staying at the George is a pleasure. The service in the bar/restaurant is very good as is the quality of the food.

Awful - communal areas smelt of fish cooking all day. No help with heavy luggage even tho in 2nd floor with no lift. Very dated, very poorly decorated, shower poor pressure, waited ages for hot water. Not decorated in decades. Bar and restaurant area no atmosphere.

Lovely two night stay for us with our two dogs at the George hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean although it would've been helpful to have a grab rail in the shower for us 'oldies'.
