Hotel in zona The Barnes Lookout, Dunedin

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small sterile room, but was impressed with the size. Good size table to work from, 2 comfy chairs and good sized bathroom. Good facitlities and good breakfast at the onsite restaurant. No Aircon, but here was a fan to cool the room down. Only downside was that the light in the bathroom was falling off the ceiling but that will be easily fixed. TV doesn't tilt so you have to be sitting on the bed to watch it, which was a pain. All else was good. Good onsite parking.

Dopo aver soggiornato a Beechwood, Distinzione, Quest e molti degli hotel di Dunedin, pensavo che questo non meritasse di essere ignorato - e sono davvero felice di averlo scelto. From the friendly ‘reception’ staff (a pleasantly untypical reception VAT), the wonderful coffee staff and food where I dinned twice to the beautiful design and layout of the hotel My room was amazing... spacious, modern, Una volta che ho scoperto come lavorare la TV che ho impostato, vorrei davvero che più hotel ti permettessero di guardare Netflix, YouTube, eccetera sulla TV! Anche la stazione di caffè era unica. Non posso aspettare di tornare l'anno prossimo, grazie!

Excellent hospitality! The motel has a good location, it is very clean and tidy. The host is so helpful and provides us with some attraction routes, which is more interesting than driving through the highway! And Rocky (Labrador) is soooo cute! We will definitely recommend this motel to our friends!

Non poteva fallire questo stabilimento. La stanza stessa era grande - molto spazioso, mobili moderni, grandi attrazioni e senza spazi puliti. Tuttavia, il servizio è quello che separa questo posto. Dopo i ritardi dei voli e la perdita del bagaglio, siamo arrivati a Dunedin, stanchi e molto delusi di come avevamo iniziato la nostra vacanza. La signora che ci ha salutati (si presumo il proprietario, e quindi mi dispiace che non abbiamo avuto un nome) è andata di sopra e di là per aiutarci e non potremmo essere più grati.

This motel offers good flexibility for cancellations which was our biggest deciding factor in staying there as we were travelling down for my hospital treatment and needed to be able to stay somewhere we could tweak the dates to stay if for some reason the hospital postponed the treatment start. At this point All seemed to be well in terms of the service we received over the phone during the booking process, we booked asking for very specific requirements for our rooms and we felt at the time of booking the understanding of these needs by the host seemed to be all very good and understood. We also rung the day before we arrived just to clarify that our rooms were as requested still and reminded we had very specific needs due to medical and health reasons and again we were reassured that all was as requested. Well we got a real shock fast when we arrived at the motel and found that none of our booking requirements had been met at all for either my parents room or for ours. :( We had requested the wheelchair accessible room for my parents, and second a ground floor unit for us. .We had asked that our room was placed downstairs near to my parents who were to be in the wheelchair unit as I have 2 autistic children , and suffer a brain tumour (reason I was there for treatment and had my parents there to help) and my mobility for stairs/seizures at random times makes it extremely agonising to navigate stairs let alone dealing with the special needs children who have very little danger understanding with heights so it was so anxiety inducing at a time that was already very scary for me to find that we had been placed in an upstairs unit . My parents were also NOT placed in the wheelchair room, and my disabled mother had to climb steps and not be able to use her wheelchair at all for 3 nights - this is hideous for someone who is a full time wheelchair user!!!!. She was not able to come up and help me with my children overnight as it was needed as she couldn't access our room! How does this happen? It actually really sucked for us all. The host was unable to rectify this situation because the motel was full, and we ended up having to make do. I don't feel like our needs were listened to or met at all and I was very frustrated at the situation and lack of help given when we were explicit on our needs when first booking, especially with also being proactive to call the day before to ensure our booking requests were being upheld. When people request certain things, either tell them you can't meet those requests or actually listen and ensure those requests are followed through when promised. There were an elderly couple in the wheelchair room, so why didn't they either tell us or them at the time of booking (whoever tried to book it last) that the wheelchair room wasn't available? I couldn't believe it. It left us feeling like they had taken our booking knowing they couldn't fullfill the requirements and hoped that it would be ok? well it wasn't o

Una serie di case all'inizio del XX secolo sono state convertite in una sorta di camere alberghiere servite. E' un vecchio edificio, quindi non c'è ascensore. Fortunatamente, il ”Jack-of-all” era abbastanza gentile da portare la nostra valigia in alto. Le camere hanno l'era vittoriana e il bagno è stato aggiunto e modernizzato. Non c'è area da pranzo, ma è fornito un colazione continentale. Poiché l'hotel è molto vicino al centro della città, il parcheggio è un problema, ma fortunatamente l'hotel dispone di parcheggio gratuito. Ci sono poche porte e un ristorante thailandese vicino a meno che non si entra in macchina e guida da qualche parte nel centro della città. Buona per un breve soggiorno.

Abbiamo avuto un appartamento a 2 camere da letto. Non sono mai stato in un appartamento così pulito e spazioso. Tutto più di quanto abbiamo bisogno.. Il proprietario era estremamente amichevole. Letti erano molto confortevoli. Posizione sorprendente. Vicino ai giardini e al supermercato.

Questo posto, le camere e il servizio fornito da John alla ricezione erano per eccellenza. Anche se ero in fretta e mi sono accostato a 11.30 la notte John era super cortese e amichevole. Era molto gentile. Le camere erano molto pulite e l'atmosfera era bella. Sono rimasto solo per cinque ore prima di partire per prendere un volo, ma vorrei che avessi rimasto più a lungo ...Ma sicuramente la prossima volta ...e John, Se stai ascoltando ...A Grazie mille per il tuo tipo di natura e servizio utile

L'ambiente e le strutture qui erano buoni. È molto tardi quando siamo stati a casa in un pastore ad un decimo di chilometri, ma Ninth. Abbiamo prenotato quattro camere in quattro per trovare che la prenotazione non è riuscita. Il capo (un vecchio serio) ha portato la nostra famiglia a tre suite a casa, Abbiamo ripristinato un giorno appena siamo felici. Sono andato in città di Ninding il giorno dopo, ma sono andato al supermercato per comprare cibo e farlo da soli. Chi sa che la notte dopo aver trovato il nostro auto che spruzzava il petrolio e ha detto che domani, dopo aver negoziato con il noleggio, doveva aspettare che la strada di domani fosse in servizio. Il giorno dopo, non è stato risolto fino alle dieci. Abbiamo spiegato la situazione con il vecchio. Ci ha anche aiutato a contattare la banca. Quando aspettava la macchina di salvataggio, il vecchio ha detto che potevamo stare nella stanza 4. La macchina di salvataggio è venuta a vedere che non era buona, quindi è stata un'attesa lunga e continua discussione, Finalmente, quando la banca ha promesso di inviare un'auto per trascinare la nostra auto. È 1:30 p.m., il vecchio vuole che paghiamo la tassa per la stanza 4. Ho negoziato con lui che molti hotel possono chiedere di ritardare la partenza. Se non lo fanno, prelevare la tassa di mezza notte prima delle 6:00. Il vecchio dice che non siamo altri, chiami la polizia se non diamo un giorno di spese di alloggio! Avrei dovuto essere grato per la ricezione del vecchio, e volevo dirgli un po'di soldi, ma non ci avevo pensato che fosse così!
