Absolutely excellent hotel, staff, room And Breakfast. Amazing gardens you could walk in forever. A wonderful hotel, grounds, scenery and staffs friendliness to our 18 yr old dog was exceptional. If you have a dog this is the hotel to stay in 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was well received by receptionist, if I have to rate her it will be 5 stars , very warm friendly and easy to talk to personally , however the elevators was not working since my wife is disabled and our room was on the 1st floor,but the receptionist saved the day, I've been recommended by a friend to stay here and I will definitely recommend the holiday inn to my other friends . I will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Dumfries. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and very comfy. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Dogs allowed.

Great staff who make you feel very welcome. Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. As it’s a bit out of the way, dining options are limited unless you want to drive or eat in the hotel.

Hotel not wow but comfortable, lounge bar, 2 days before Xmas closed so had to venture out for a drink which i thought they were totally missing a trick.

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. Staff were exceptional!

The hotel was perfectly located for my visit to Easterbrook Hall.

Enjoyed the grounds, easy parking, beautiful walking areas. The room was clean, however, the building is showing its age and could use some upkeep. The bed was not comfortable for us, but that is subjective to individual preference. Every day, we had to go get our room key reprogrammed - slight annoyance but no big deal. The restaurant was ok. Food was delicious but service really lacked; understaffed in the afternoon and evening. The waitress was a sweetheart, and very sincerely apologized. Overall we would recommend the hotel for ease of travel and a beautiful location.

Staff were always friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
