Prima tappa di un tour in Sudafrica. siamo arrivati di sera, non si vedeva nulla, ma all'interno l'atmosfera era calda ed accogliente con tanto legno lucido ed un'architettura che ricordava l'antica Inghilterra. Caminetti in ogni stanza. Cibo ottimo e la sorpresa è stata la nostra suite: praticamente un appartamento con due bagni!! Bottiglia di spumante in camera! il risveglio è stato strepitoso: con la luce ho finalmente visto il posto che è incantevole, immerso nel verde e con laghetti per la pesca alle trote.

Posto eccezionale situato in un oasi di pace. Resort in pieno stile British molto elegante e raffinato, stanze con caminetto e laghetti nelle vicinanze con possibilità di effettuare pesca., Corse a cavallo ecc. Ottimo ristorante in salette appartate e con servizio impeccabile. Peccato esserci fermati una sola notte.

In questo resort sembra di rivivere in un luogo incantato , fuori dal tempo. L'atmosfera è magica, ed i paesaggi suggestivi. La nostra stanza aveva il caminetto acceso, ed era assolutamente accogliente e "calda". La sala ristorante ben arredata, con una grande camino centrale. Ci siamo fermati per cena e colazione : portate impiattate in modo raffinato, composte con ingredienti gustosi e di qualità. Peccato esserci fermati solo una notte!!!!

. Beautiful, peaceful, tranquil, well maintained property. Walks and hikes. We stayed self-catering and also enjoyed excellent service,food on occasion in hotel, including a surprise birthday cake. Visited the rehabilitation centre for birds of prey. Not far away is the quaint town of Dullstroom, Beer,coffee brewed at same place! Dullstroom parkrun was a challenge

Found this place by chance via a Google search and decided it would suffice as an evening stopover en route to the Kruger. What a beautiful place! Loved every minute of being here. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The main hotel was cosy and comfortable with superb staff. Food was delicious with a great wine selection. A beautiful estate which peaceful and safe. Perfect for a romantic weekend or longer family holiday.

We spent a weekend away for our anniversary. The service from all the staff was excellent. They were friendly and attended to all our requests. They went out of their way to make our weekend special. The room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking one of the lakes. The views were beautiful. The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good especially the trout. There was a lovely fireplace in the bedroom and a supply of wood was left if needed. There are no air conditioners or fans in the rooms and I dont know how hot it gets in the summer. The fireplace kept the room warm and cozy just a little chilly in the early morning. A special thank you to the staff for making our celebration so special.

A wonderful hotel that I wish I could’ve spent more than just one night at! The room was so cozy with the fireplace, the view from the room was stunning and the property was beautiful. Nothing more you could ask for. The four course dinner was DELICIOUS (the menu changes every night and when we were there I had the a leek soup - one of the best I’ve ever had, mushroom fricasee, and trout stuffed with risotto. My husband had the springbok carpaccio and the kudu steak which were both delicious as well). My massage with Shanon was exactly what I needed, even the view from the spa was gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and were so kind as to light our fire while we were out at dinner. 100% would return to and would recommend (though I am inclined to gate-keep this little spot)!

Walkersons was the perfect location for our 25th wedding anniversary. From our first interaction and booking, the service was outstanding and professional. The friendly staff welcomed us when we arrived and we instantly felt at home! Our room (nr 7) overlooked a small dam and was lovely, with a magnificent view over the water. The bed was super comfortable and the room offered everything we needed, and even has an outdoor shower! The Nespresso coffee machine and rusks added a really nice touch. Candles, champagne and spoils awaited us in the room after dinner on our anniversary. Lovely paved walkways around the dams. The Spa treatment was fabulous. Chef Lunga went out of his way to assist with gluten free options, which was definitely one of the highlights. The menu offers an array of good South African meals and the food is beautifully presented.

The Walkersoon Spa and Hotel is our favorite place and close to Johannesburg. The hills and lakes and all the wonderful surroundings, we always enjoy them. Also the restaurant with delicious food and is served from the very friendly staff. We came many times and we went there many times and had the best experience.
