LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.
Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.
We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.
A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

We had the family room on the top floor. It was spacious, the bed was huge and super comfortable, the shower was hot and the toiletries smelled amazing! The view was to the mountains and you could hear all the countryside morning sounds when waking up!
The staff are super helpful too! I cannot thank them enough for all the advice and help. Although they do not speak English, we had no problem at all communicating via translator apps.
For foreigners, like us, who do not drive — it is worth mentioning, that the hotel is at the end of the road, right in the mountains. You will need a taxi to go anywhere and taxis are more expensive there, because you either need to use local services or pay extra to didi drivers so they agree to drive you up the mountain serpentines.
There was no massage, as listed here. It was not a problem for us, we absolutely loved the outdoor pool after a long hike.
The restaurant was not working too. But I am aware that you can order food and still have a beautiful meal on one of their terraces.
It is a truly idilic and peaceful place, away from the world.

UUtente ospiteIt is a cute hotel with a really awesome fruit platter that they present to you when you arrive! It has an abundance of fruit and different options, including longyan (longans!) The hotel is a bit hard to find--the Didi drivers usually get routed kind of to the parking entrance but I would just enter the little town directly from the front gate, not the parking garage. If you arrive during daytime hours, the general manager (she has short hair and wears a blue suit and glasses) will help you out because she is standing at a little kiosk at the front to welcome and greet guests. She is fantastic and one of the highlights of my entire stay. She was everywhere whenever I needed her. For example, she was there when I arrived, looking lost because I couldn't find the hotel and was a little confused on how to get inside (you might see this mural/hanging poster sort of situation and the lobby entrance is basically to the left of that). She was there in the morning when I was getting breakfast and was unfamiliar with some of the menu items. She was there when I was leaving and helped receive my kuaidi (courier) delivery too and pass it to me! She even reminded me of the benefits I have as a guest at the hotel (that I had actually forgotten about), like the afternoon tea experience that is included in the price of my stay. Even though I didn't use it immediately on arrival, she helped arrange it so I could use it the day I checked out and was leaving, so I got to enjoy some nice buckwheat tea and cookies after my hike and before my long train ride to my next destination!
She really cares about the comfort of her guests and everything that's going on at the hotel. Overall, a very relaxing stay and I appreciate my experience there.
Also, finally, the toiletries are amazing. They are bergamot-scented and actually very high quality. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and these are by far the best toiletries I've ever used. The conditioner in particular is especially good and really moisturizes your hair.

SSarah Welsh1We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay here and it was perfection! The hotel is situated high in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from Panda Valley. The rooms were very clean and are supplied with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and we instantly fell in love with this place! The hotel is well worth the price paid. There are evening meals available but it is also possible to order takeaway from the restaurants in the city to deliver. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the spring water spa bath in the room. The beds were huge and so comfortable, it was blissful!
The customer service was the greatest! The staff were happy to help with every request and were so friendly, they really made the stay memorable. The staff helped with small items such as mosquito spray (although it wasn’t needed), lighters and other items we had forgotten. They also helped us to book our tickets and arrange our trips for the following days to the temple and Panda Valley. They also went out of their way to drive us to these places and made sure we were able to get inside as we don’t read Chinese! As I said, exceptional service!
We very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at Sanmoun Villas for a wonderful and unforgettable stay 🥰

CCarrolQuesto hotel si trova in bellissime aree, ma è vergognoso che lascino i pascoli prendere in giro. Ancora molto piacevole per camminare intorno al complesso con tutti gli alberi, fiori, lago, coglioni e cani, ma rompe il cuore per vedere le erbe prendono in giro ovunque e c'è quello che una volta sarebbe stato un bellissimo percorso di fiori rosa e le rose sono ancora Il fiore, ma nessun manutenzione, a tutte e a tutte le settimane sono più alte dei buchi rosa e tutto quello che sembrano fare è solo l'erba e dimenticare il resto.
Le camere e le strutture erano molto pulite, quindi sono stato impressionato.
La struttura della stanza è eccellente e molto grande con un giardino e un spa esterno, si inizia a rilassarsi non appena si cammina in porta. L'unica cosa che mi ha messo fuori e mia moglie è la tavola mahjong nella stanza principale al primo piano.
La TV non aveva neanche film né canali inglesi.
Il cibo nel ristorante cinese è stato molto bello, ma limitato.
Il pranzo non era una scelta molto grande e probabilmente perché non è la stagione di picco, ma non era anche molto buono e ci ha messo fuori anche provando il Cibo occidentale per cena e ha attraversato la strada per il cibo veloce invece.
Il personale era molto gentile e gentile.
Vogliamo per il compleanno di mia moglie e, oltre alle impressionanti strutture edilizie, non c'era alcun fattore di WOW per l'esperienza complessiva.

Concierge was extremely helpful with tendering luggages which was very much needed as some rooms are located on second floor ( no elevator). An assistant was assigned to the room and she (Vicky) could be reached almost 24/7 through texting. I had a small accident in the room first night of my stay and she quickly helped with arranging a different room that was more suited to my needs. She also provided me with first aid etc plus always answer my questions promptly ＜3

Hotel rooms, restaurants, hot spring are not in the same structure, requires a short walk outdoor which is very common among hotels on qing cheng mount.
Highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant. Has all the local favorite dishes plus good oil was used. Reasonably priced.
They offer free shuttle to train station
Hanfu experience was a room with about 50 pieces of hanfu to choose from. For female about 20 -30 pieces, for male about 5 pieces, for kids about 5 pieces.

I had been eagerly anticipating this trip with my parents for quite some time, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Every detail of this breathtaking property has been thoughtfully considered — from the flawless finishes to the world-class cuisine, it was truly exceptional.
A special thank you goes to Silvia, who went above and beyond to ensure not only my comfort but also that my parents were exceptionally well cared for. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made a lasting impression. Silvia is a true gem and an invaluable part of the Six Senses team. I sincerely hope she continues to be part of the group — talent and dedication like hers are rare and irreplaceable.

UUtente ospiteStrutture: Le strutture del nuovo hotel sono molto complete e nuove. Non ci sono danni o sospensioni di utilizzo.
Igiene: nel complesso molto pulito. La toilette intelligente, la vasca da bagno e il lavandino del WC sono tutti puliti e anche la stanza è molto ordinata.
Ambiente: La strada è molto tranquilla e non c'è molto movimento. L'unica cosa che influirà sul vostro riposo è la strada fuori dalla stanza che è ancora un po' rumorosa quando si tira la valigia.
Servizio: il servizio in generale è molto buono, dal check-in alle terme alla colazione, il personale è molto cordiale e gentile. Un ringraziamento speciale a Tina per il suo aiuto👍🏻
Biglietti per il centro termale all'aperto: ci sono ancora molte piscine termali pubbliche e l'area è grande. Anche se non tutte sono aperte, ci sono otto o nove piscine. È così comodo fare un tuffo dopo aver giocato durante il giorno.
