LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.
Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.
We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.
A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

Abbiamo avuto la camera familiare al piano superiore. Era spaziosa, il letto era enorme e super comodo, la doccia era calda e le toilette odore sorprendente! La vista era sulle montagne e si potevano sentire tutti i campi di mattina quando si sveglia!
Anche il personale è super utile! Non posso ringraziarli abbastanza per tutti i consigli e l'aiuto. Anche se non parlano inglese, non abbiamo avuto alcun problema di comunicare via app traduttore.
Per gli stranieri, come noi, che non guidano, vale la pena ricordare che l'hotel è alla fine della strada, proprio nelle montagne. Dovrete prendere un taxi per andare da qualche parte e i taxi sono più costosi, perché è necessario utilizzare i servizi locali o pagare un'ulteriore somma ai conducenti didi per consentire di guidare le serpenti di montagna.
Non c'era nessun massaggio, come è stato elencato qui, non era un problema per noi, ci piaceva la piscina all'aperto dopo un lungo cammino.
Il ristorante non funzionava nemmeno, ma so che potete ordinare cibo e avere ancora una bella cena su una delle loro terrazze.
È un luogo davvero immondo e tranquillo, lontano dal mondo.

UUtente ospiteI had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I’m happy to share my experience! The room was exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The modern toilet was a standout feature – clean, stylish, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the hotel’s hot spring facilities, which were incredibly relaxing and offered a wonderful way to unwind after hiking at青城后山.
The local home-cooked breakfast was delicious, setting us up perfectly for the day ahead.
What really made our stay memorable, though, was the amazing service from the boss. He was incredibly helpful and approachable, going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. After checkout, he even helped us hail and contact Didi driver, which was a huge convenience.
One down side was the wrong advice given and wasted our 30mins walk to find cable car back to town had already ended service and we had to find our way down ourselves.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great service, comfort, and thoughtful touches.

CChiSydI took the last train and arrived at station at 9.42pm. While I was on the train, a customer service officer from Trip.com contacted me and advised that the lady at the hotel will finish work at 10pm. I explained, Trip.com called me back and said the lady will waiting for me, so relieved.
I was using Apple map and could not find the place so I asked a restaurant owner nearby and he advised that it’s on the 1st floor not on the ground.
Once arrived, the lady showed my room and asked if I want to see a larger room, she will upgrade for free, I accepted with thanks.
She couldn’t speak English, we added Wechat and she helped me a lot. She advised where to go sightseeing, restaurants and also check price and book a car for me to go to Panda Base in Shenshuping. She replied all my questions very quick.
I asked not to clean my room and she kept asking if I want more water.
The room was clean with no cigarette smell. It’s very close to station, shop and restaurants.
I received some gifts after checkout.
I will stay here again when I return to Dujiangyan.

JJackie travelI arrived at homestay 闲时依旧 from 毕棚沟at around 8.40pm . We were looking for the entrance and was there it was second floor and we had 4 heavy luggages 2 large and 2 small.
we didn't know there are 2 ways to get to the homestay 1.climb the ladder and 3 .elevator behind .
anyway ,we climbed the stairs🤭
Once we reach the Aunty was there she was smiling and not a lot of Thai stayed here .
The homestay has no elevator inside so you need to climb the ladder to your room which might be on second floor .
I was about to carry my heavy luggages one by one but Aunty suddenly took the heavy luggage for me and I told here no it is too heavy for lady but she insisted and carried it to the front door of my room.
she is so hospitable .She don't need to carry my bag it is too heavy for lady! I was at the same time ashamed and also impressed with how much she wanted to help.
I was grateful for that .Upone entering the room .It was cozy ,cute and we have a balcony which we used to have breakfast with view of the old town .
I really like this place .

IN ADDITION, THE WATER THAT HOMESTAY OFFERED US IN ROOM THERE IS 1.5 LITRE AND 2 0.5 LITRE AND IT IS PETRIFIED WATER .WHICH IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT WE USUALLY SEE .I have been travelling and staying thousands of hotel even 5-6 stars no places offered such expensive water!!!!

We have a great night sleep souch that we got up a little late .So we rushed out to Panda Selfie and the spots we planned .
we asked the Aunty owner for information how to go and she was very vigilant and happy to tell us she even walked out to point us the way .
I cannot say how perfect our stay was bed was soft ,clean pillow is perfectly supportive . Amenities are not those cheap amenities ,all usable and have a price .
Soup is good ( normally I don't use any soup if it is not my own).
The hot tap shower have digital heat and cool control with Celsius Digital you can turn 33 ,34 35, ,23 ,24 ,25 Celsius accurately.
All these are something meticulously thoughtful .And invested for the pleasure of the visitors.
Since we love the stay so much and we love the city.
we decided to stay 1 more night in Dujiangyan .Also because we love 青城山 ，but when we visited there it was already 3pm too late to enter and enjoy the nature .
so we WeChat to aunty and told here we will stay 1 more night .And she upgraded for us to bigeer room with 2 beds very spacious .with the same price because the room type we booked was full.
You see how good she is ,the next night we stayed in spacious room with very clean beds as usual.
All I can say if I can give full star of 10 I wanted to give

SSarah Welsh1We have just had the most amazing 2 night stay here and it was perfection! The hotel is situated high in the mountains but only 20 minutes away from Panda Valley. The rooms were very clean and are supplied with everything you could need. The views were exceptional and we instantly fell in love with this place! The hotel is well worth the price paid. There are evening meals available but it is also possible to order takeaway from the restaurants in the city to deliver. The WiFi worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water for the showers and the spring water spa bath in the room. The beds were huge and so comfortable, it was blissful!
The customer service was the greatest! The staff were happy to help with every request and were so friendly, they really made the stay memorable. The staff helped with small items such as mosquito spray (although it wasn’t needed), lighters and other items we had forgotten. They also helped us to book our tickets and arrange our trips for the following days to the temple and Panda Valley. They also went out of their way to drive us to these places and made sure we were able to get inside as we don’t read Chinese! As I said, exceptional service!
We very much look forward to staying here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff at Sanmoun Villas for a wonderful and unforgettable stay 🥰

CCarrolThis Hotel is located on beautiful grounds, however it is a real shame that they are letting the weeds takeover everywhere. Still very pleasant to walk around the complex with all the trees, flowers, lake, swans & ducks, but it breaks your heart to see the weeds taking over everywhere and there is what once would have been a beautiful Rose Flower path and the roses are still flowering but no maintenance at all and weeks are taller than the rose bushes and all they seem to do is just the grass and forget the rest.
Rooms and facilities were very clean, so I was impressed.
Room layout is excellent and very, very big with a courtyard and external spa, you start to relax as soon as you walk in the door. The only thing that put me and my wife off is the mahjong table in the main room on the first floor.
TV had no movies and no English Chanels at all.
Food in the All Day Dining (Chinese Restaurant) was very nice but limited.
Breakfast was not a very big selection and probably because it is not peak season, however it also was not very good and put us off even trying the Western Food for dinner and went across the road for fast food instead.
Staff were very nice and polite.
We want for my wife's birthday and apart from the impressive building structures, there was no WOW factor for the overall experience.
