Hotel in zona Waassertuerm + Pomhouse, Dudelange

Near the tram stop Lycée Bouneweg you'll find this small, family-run hotel. I stayed in a spotless clean single room, which was surprisingly spacious and contained (almost) all amenities for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the excellent A/C (a rarity in mid-range hotels in this city), the coffee and tea making facilities, the minibar/fridge, the smart TV and the excellent sound insulation (including shutters). Just a pity that the room didn’t have a safe to store a laptop. The secure Wi-Fi connection always worked excellent and the modern and very spacious bathroom had a fine shower cubicle. The breakfast buffet offers a limited but varied range of fresh and tasty products and in summer it is possible to sit outside. The friendly staff and excellent in-house Italian restaurant at the ground floor are additional assets. Hotel Pax is located in the not very touristy area of Bonnevoie. However, Luxembourg's main train station is only two tram stops or 4 minutes away, making Hotel Pax a great base for visiting both the city and the country. As prices here are relatively modest, this hotel is an excellent alternative to the noisy station area and offers better value for money than most other hotels.

Grazie a tutta l’equipaggio dell’hotel, personale molto servibile all’ascoltare e sempre rispettoso. Un ristorante perfetto con pasti «familiari» e gusto, con una cameriera e un server sempre gentile e attento. Congratulazioni al cuoco per la sua cucina deliziosa e molto delicatamente speziata. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and/or stay again. In detail: - My partner and I stayed here during summer holidays. It was a mixed business & leisure trip. I worked in the lobby/restaurant for 2 days and Wifi was great throughout the entire hotel (no glitched, no loss of connection during conference calls). - All staff was very friendly and helpful. From the people at the reception, to the cleaning personal, as soon as we had a question, they helped us. - The rooms are also very modern, clean and with quiet AC(airco). I would even suggest to the hotel that it’s not needed to renew all towels every day. I’m ok with using my towel for a few days. ;) - Breakfast is ok. It’s all there (cheeses, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk, juices, eggs, toast & croissants.). It is fresh and tasty, but don’t expect a lavish brunch. I read some of the previous reviews and sometimes people need to manage their own expectations. ;) As it is a new hotel, some suggestions I would like to bring to hotel management: - I was missing a tiny fridge in the room. Luckily the staff stored our food in the kitchen, but I felt a bit guilty asking for it every morning. - I would invest in an AC in the breakfast room. It’s a very nice space, filled with light, but that also means that during summer it gets quite warm. Nonetheless: definitely worth a stay when visiting Luxembourg! Extra tip! Go visit the brewery next door + tasting and ask for Eric. Eric was our tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and like to share his stories, which for us made sure we had a great time! Also the beer is good (bonus, haha). :P

Servizio caldo, attento e gentile da parte del personale dell'ufficio di fronte (Olivier, Eva, Raquel e Keir: grazie). La stanza era molto pulita, non una traccia di polvere. Abbiamo amato la combinazione di un bagno e una doccia separata. Qualitative attrezzature presenti. La colazione aveva tutto quello che ci serviva.Abbiamo ricevuto un buono per un drink per il mio compleanno.

La dimensione della stanza è corretta, l'hotel è decorato con caratteristiche, ma il ristorante del primo piano è un po' costoso, e il parcheggio non è gratuito, passa 16 euro per la notte.Il servizio della ricetta è buono.La finestra non è abbastanza luminosa, ma è piuttosto tranquilla, l'igiene è buona, e l'acqua di lavaggio non è problema.
