Hotel Nestos

Had the most amazing massage in the hotel’s Wellness Centre! Our therapist, Matea, was excellent. Such a lovely peaceful spa experience too. It has sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and day beds. Would highly recommend to everyone, resident or not.

Beautiful hotel. Calm peaceful and smells amazing. The rooms are immaculately presented and the beds are so so comfy. Breakfast is great. Beautifully presented and cooked. Dinner in the evening is quiet and calm. It’s an oasis situated across the road from a very quaint lovely beach area. The pool is small but we were more than happy to swim in the clear sea. The staff can’t help you enough and the waiting staff are great and very attentive. We have loved staying here.

We’ve just spent a fab week in this hotel and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. The hotel was spotless, the staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The was a huge choice for the breakfast buffet, not just continental, eggs cooked in different ways and other savouries. We ate in twice for evening meals and there was plenty of choice and very generous portions. Omis is 10 mins by bus, Split 45 mins depending on traffic, one day it took us an hour and a half! Buses were relatively cheap, easy to use and were very regular. The beach is directly opposite and there are bars, cafes and little restaurants close by. We were surprised by the number of establishments that don’t offer a card payment facility, most places only took euros. Special thank you to Jelena, Dino and Kathryn for their help and guidance.

I was originally booked into a different hotel that closed down, and Loveholidays rebooked me into Hotel Nestos. I am very glad they did. As soon as I arrived at the hotel I was greeted with a glass of fizz and was offered to sit and relax while they sorted the booking. I've never been greeted in this manner before and I have to say, after a good few hours of travelling, it was very welcome. My son felt like they were making a fuss of him so he loved it. I knew straight away that we were going to enjoy our stay. We stayed in a Superior room with sea view, and it was a lovely room, good sized, with a spacious bathroom and also a nice balcony. The room had a fridge as well, perfect to keep a few tinnies cold. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was great, and the rooms were cleaned daily and the bathroom amenities restocked daily. The seating area around the pool is really nice and relaxing: the pool is in the centre of the hotel, so the front side of the hotel shields it from the road and keeps the area quiet. The bar had a comprehensive menu of drinks - unfortunately as we were coming to the end of the season they began to run out of stock. There was a gorgeous pale ale but I only managed to have one. I did however go through a few of their cocktails and was surprised at just how well they were made. I've been to dedicated cocktail bars that couldn't match their quality. The Rose Martini in particular was divine. What really made our stay so fantastic however was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, from the cleaners to the bar/restaurant staff, to the front desk and the management. Every day we were greeted with smiles, was asked what we had planned, what we did the previous day, offered us suggestions on what to do next and even booked an excursion for us (Krka Waterfalls). I've stayed in hotels before where the staff generally ignore you or pay little interest, but that was not my experience of Nestos. The only downside to this hotel is that it's Bed & Breakfast only, and not All Inclusive (AI). My original booking was with an AI resort and Nestos did a really good job at accommodating those of us who had our bookings transferred. But I tend to prefer AI holidays because I can relax and not worry about money. I plan on returning to Croatia in 2024; I sincerely hope Nestos branches out into All Inclusive because it would be a pretty much perfect stay. A few notes about the location: Hotel Nestos is in between Split and Omis, being much closer to Omis. The area around the hotel is quiet with a few beach bars on either side, and a few restaurants. Coming to the end of October a lot of this was closed however. There is a brilliant bus service, with a stop right outside the hotel. The buses are every 30 minutes and there's a great app called Promet Split that has a live tracker with updated times, and a map that shows you exactly where the bus is. This line is the number 60. Just like sister hotel very over rated. Manager rude. Don’t be taken in by rooms. Fair better hotels more food choices cheaper drinks. Better toiletries. Incredible boiled veg mixed in with fruit bar. Not a cultural thing just disorganised. Staff constantly on your back trying to sell drinks etc. Hotel put bare minimum in rooms. Avoid. Go to another resort. Hotel

The staff was always very nice and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, the cocktails are AMAZING!!! The bartender is very nice and makes the most perfect drinks! We also made a reservation for dinner at the restaurant’s hotel and it was delicious, always take the recommendations of the manager/bartender/ 👍🏻 You can always make a reservation with extra cost too in the Spa and you won’t regret it!! We took the package for two and seriously… we had the best massage of our lives!!! The hotel has great location, beautiful beach across the street, Omiš’ old town is beautiful and just 15 min away! We would definitely recommend!!
