The property is in need of some remodeling/updating and attention to maintenance on some key things. When we checked into our room, while there was a nice note on the bed stating that the room had been "refreshed", it was clear that the floor needed to be vacuumed and tables dusted. The first night, our toilet would not flush. I called the front desk to report it, using the phone in the room; however, the front desk attendant couldn't hear me, so I had to walk down to the front desk to report it. She promptly came up to see what was going on and attempt to fix it. While it did flush after that, we had to hold the handle down to get it to flush and sometimes that didn't work - so we would wait a few hours and try again. The 2nd day we were there, the elevator from the 2nd floor wasn't working (I believe they said it was because of the keys/buttons "sticking"), so we had to take the steps to get downstairs. However, we could use the elevator to go up. We were informed that a maintenance technician would be onsite that day (Friday, 03.29) to take a look at it. While I won't likely stay at this location again, I will commend the front desk woman on the evening of Thursday, 03.28. She is a fantastic representation for the company: very customer focused, pleasant, congenial, an overall great asset this company.
