Anche se è un po' lontano dalla vecchia città, è un posto tranquillo, ci sono supermercati e farmacie vicino, quindi è molto adatto per rilassarsi.L'acqua è molto pulita e c'è acqua di lavaggio nel momento.Nessuna stanza di lavaggio, ma i tovaglioli possono essere sostituiti su richiesta. Sono disposti a rispondere, e le procedure di soggiorno e di partenza sono anche molto corrette.La posizione è un po'causa, le scale sono molto difficili, ma sono felice di restare.

The acommodation is for backpackers. Location is a little far from the Old Town. The owner lives in the property and manage the rooms (call him before arrive). He's a kind and helpful man, but there are some problems... cleanliness could be better (I felt some dust on the flor, probably from previous guests coming from the beach with sand on the feet or sandals). There's no extra toilet paper (fortunately it was not necessary). There's no toiletries (only some left overs from previous guests, like an almost empty bottle of shampoo from Israel). There's no breakfast and not many options around the hotel. Maintenance should be better, because some lamps in the bathroom were not working. There's a fridge in the room and a balcony.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo soggiornato nel Royal Neptun per una settimana, è 1 su 3 hotel che formano un complesso - Neptun è una 4 stelle e l'altra 2, 5 stelle e si può certamente vedere la differenza. Le altezze, la posizione è eccellente, la passeggiata lungo la promenade ai bar e ristoranti, bella. Il tetto superiore bar e piscina, un luogo fantastico per bere e guardare il sole, le pizza in “on the rocks bar” gimmy, cibo e setting in Zoe valgono bene il denaro, e il massaggio nel bagno è stato uno dei migliori che abbia mai avuto. Perchè solo 3 stelle: abbiamo fatto check-in, altri ospiti che hanno fatto check-in sono stati offerti supporto con il loro bagaglio che non eravamo, forse solo per le 5 stelle, non ci importavamo, ma solo notabili. Abbiamo camminato nella nostra stanza, prima vista pulita e temperata, ma poi abbiamo iniziato a notare le tinture rosse e bianche sul tappeto, doccia rotta e sicurezza, porta bagno, tipo fisse. La colazione non era una piacevole esperienza, non è abbastanza grande per la dimensione dell'hotel, molte persone che camminano intorno alla ricerca di tavoli, nessuna gestione che sorveglia il flusso dei clienti, Il personale era assai debole, nessuno sorrideva, passava e non ti riconosceva, quando cercava di attirare l'attenzione, era come se ti guardassero e andassero in una direzione diversa. Il cibo correva molto rapidamente, tutte le carni, i formaggi ecc non erano coperti e i volatili si sbarcavano su di esso, la coda per omeletti era almeno 10 minuti così grande riunita intorno a dove altri ospiti cercavano di mangiare. Area della piscina, come questo è un hotel familiare è stato davvero sorpreso di vedere il vetro utilizzato, una volta si è visto una rottura di vetro e un ragazzo si è tagliato il piede e secondo un vetro di vino si è rotto e la stallo si è chiesto di lasciare mentre era pulito. . Questo hotel ha il fatto di avere un posto fantastico per rimanere così sperando che questo feedback aiuterà a fare i suoi bisogni.

JJenlvUno dei migliori hotel in cui sia mai stato con infinite viste mozzafiato sulla città vecchia, che è a pochi passi di distanza. L'area della spiaggia è un'area rilassante dove trascorrere una giornata con diverse sedie a sdraio, un rapido accesso al mare cristallino e il personale per prendere le ordinazioni di cibo e bevande. L'area bar all'aperto è il luogo perfetto per sorseggiare un bicchiere di vino locale ammirando il tramonto. Le camere sono confortevoli e spaziose. Sono stato trasferito in una camera con terrazza e ho avuto la migliore vista dello spettacolo pirotecnico.

La stanza era improvvisamente pulita e ben attrezzata, con un comodo letto che ha fornito un grande sonno notturno. Le strutture dell'hotel sono state di alta qualità, dal delizioso colazione diffuso al centro fitness e alla spa relax. Il personale è andato sopra e oltre per assicurare che il mio soggiorno fosse piacevole, fornendo eccellenti consigli per attrazioni locali e cena. Non posso aspettare di tornare a questo hotel nel mio prossimo viaggio – ha superato tutte le mie aspettative!

JJulieAmazing hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Spectacular views from the balcony, especially the sunsets. Really clean and comfortable- lots of toiletries in the bathroom - you don’t need to bring anything.
Great spa area n the top floor - theres also a hot tub and sunbeds on the roof - I don’t think anyone knows about this as we were the only ones there.
Breakfast was lovely, if there’s nothing there for you - you must be super fussy. Plentiful, well cooked. We also ate in the taverna restaurant which was also very good. We had good weather so used the pool area, plenty of sunbeds. You can also swim in the sea here.
Really convenient to explore Dubrovnik. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to the old town every 20 minutes, very cheap too. Taxis come really quick from the hotel.
Definitely have to walk the walls in old town. Cable car to the top with spectacular views. Old town is beautiful, lots of shops if that what you want to do. Didn’t have time to do any trips, but will definitely be coming back to do those.
We walked a lot, exploring the local area so if you are into walking then you will be fine.
We ate in the old town - a recommended restaurant Taj Mahal. Bosnian restaurant, delicious food (not cheap) but perfect for a special meal.
Definitely recommend this hotel and the area. We had an amazing 3 nights - and wish we had booked longer.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è arrivato a confermare quando usciamo dall'aeroporto perché non sono sempre dotati di personale. Abbiamo fornito aggiornamenti, ma c'era qualche malcomunicazione quando ho detto che l'autobus arrivava all'aeroporto circa alle 3:00, in modo che potesse valutare quando andremmo a Old Town. Quando finalmente siamo arrivati nella vecchia città con l'autobus 40 minuti dopo e siamo arrivati all'hotel, Anamaria sembrava un po' passato, pensando che volevo dire che l'autobus arrivava nella vecchia città e ci voleva più tempo di quanto si aspettasse. Tuttavia, era li' per darci le chiavi e siamo riusciti a entrare nella stanza.
Non c'era ascensore, quindi la bagagli era un po' difficile, ma gestibile.La stanza era moderna, ma molto marmorosa e confortevole. La notte il rumore della strada era un po' alto al primo piano, mentre le scale si scioglievano e le luci della strada arrivavano dalla strada.
La posizione era incredibile nel cuore della città antica e il check-out era molto facile.

UUtente ospiteAs many of the other reviews state this hotel is not in the old city - it is a 20min walk (about 2km) down to the old city, which in the heat of the midday sun can be an issue for some, particularly if you are trekking uphill back to the hotel. The best alternative option is to catch the #4 bus from the Pile Gate and then get off on the 4th stop which is 100m away from the hotel (4min bus ride). There are not a large number of reasonable restaurants close by and the on-premises Bosnian restaurant (Taj Mahal) cannot be booked to the room. It is a mid-range hotel built in the 1970s, so it does have an older feel. It is not that large, with just over 150 rooms but larger than the boutique hotels we were used to staying it on our Croatian trip. We stayed in one of their classic rooms - without any view (unless you count the adjoining building as a view). The double bed was just two single beds pushed together, which meant disappearing down the crevice in-between regularly during the night. I'd suggest booking a superior room, which are larger, more modern, in the newer wing of the hotel and include a bathtub. The Wi-Fi was easy to access and relatively fast. The air conditioning only be turned on when the room key was inserted, which meant, dependent on the room orientation, you could come back to a warm room which might take some time to cool down. They only supplied one bottle of water for entire stay, which they could easily address. The swimming pool is fairly small, almost always in shade and can only be accessed via the lobby (doesn't have any change facilities by the pool). We arrived in the morning, well before the 2pm check-in, and whilst they stored our luggage and offered us use of the pool whilst we waited there really wasn't anywhere to get changed and take up the offer. The breakfast, included in the room tariff, was a reasonable quality with a relatively choice of options however it didn't vary at all during our five-day stay. The lobby/foyer can get congested at times when larger tour groups arrive, with all their luggage in tow. The staff were polite and endeavoured to help us where they could. Not my favourite accommodation in Croatia but serviceable for what we needed.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, hot, high-pressure shower. Convenient location to take the number 6 bus straight to Old Town, but be aware the bus is VERY crowded even in mid September. Avoid during peak season as I think this would be a nightmare. €2.50 one way, runs every 15 mins, 20-30 mins ish. Can pay by card on the bus. Taxis to old town approx €20 one way. Walking 1 hour +. Free parking at the hotel, but the rest of Dubrovnik is a nightmare, so probably not worth renting a car unless you’re travelling outside the city. 15 - 20 mins walk to several nearby beaches (stoney, no deck chairs to rent off-season that we could find). 15 mins walk to some restaurants by the harbour, but an uphill walk back to the hotel. Slightly underwhelming breakfast in terms of quality, but a good selection which was kept topped up by attentive staff. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Please listen to me when I say this this not the place for you. Let me preface this by saying, I have worked in hotels and completely understand that things break and it’s out of our control. It’s the complete lack of communication from the management that I take issue with. To start, when I booked through ******* weeks before my arrival I messaged the hotel and asked if I could come store my bags since I would be there prior to check in time. No answer. That should have been my first clue about their atrocious customer service. I forgot about it until the day before and messaged them again via *******. Still no answer. I found them via WhatsApp and messaged them at 7:29 am. Almost three full hours later they finally responded that yes, I could drop my luggage off (spoiler alert- I had given up on getting a response and already went straight to the property and dropped it off with the guy at check in). They also said that the lock on my door was broken and wouldn’t be fixed until the next day and they could provide other accommodation. Unfortunately I did not see their message because I was exploring old town and at the beach and didn’t realize there was an issue until I went to check into the room around 3:00 pm and could not lock the door. I went downstairs and informed the check in guy who said he would contact the manager. Ok no big deal, I thanked him and went back to my room and waited and waited, and finally contacted the manager via WhatsApp again and asked about another room if this one could not be fixed. They said there was no other rooms available tonight and that hopefully the repairman would be able to resolve the issue (3:45 pm). Why did they offer alternative accommodation if they had no rooms available?? I wait some more and finally decide I need to shower so I lock the bathroom door since I couldn't lock the actual room door. Fast forward to me being locked in the bathroom for a good ten minutes. Long enough for me to begin to panic because my phone was in the main room and would anyone hear me? I finally get the bathroom door open and clearly there has been no repairman during this time. I message the manager again (4:45pm) and asked if they knew when he would be here as I was getting very hungry now. I can see they are online. No response. Twenty min later I texted them a “?” Again I see them come online. Still no response. I finally just grab anything that important that I wouldn’t want stolen and head to dinner. In the meantime I contact ******* to make sure this whole situation is documented. The ******* representative also contacted the manager and did not get a response. 50 minutes later I message them again that this is unprofessional and unacceptable and also their listing is still showing on Kayak yet they said they had no rooms available. Like I said I totally get that these things happen. What upsets me is that their way of dealing with it was to completely ignore me instead of checking in and keeping me updated wi
