Hotel in zona Irish Family History Centre, Dublino

Hotel molto semplice e senza fronzoli. Il personale della reception era gentile ma non può dire molto sulle pulizie. Ho fatto il check-in e ho trovato ciocche di capelli sul muro del bagno, penso che le pulizie abbiano raccolto i capelli e probabilmente li abbiano attaccati al muro durante la pulizia e si siano dimenticati di buttarli via dopo. Giorno 2, ho messo il cartello per pulire la stanza ma sono tornato il cartello era ancora appeso alla porta e la stanza non era stata rifatta. Le dimensioni della camera sono piccole se ci fossero 2 persone nella stanza, non c'è molto spazio per i bagagli.

L'hotel è situato proprio sulla strada principale di Dublino, con molti ristoranti, bar e negozi nei dintorni. I membri del personale sono molto gentili e disponibili. La camera non è abbastanza grande ma è tutto ben tenuto.

La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Si trova nel quartiere degli affari ed è molto comoda per viaggiare. Il personale è stato molto cordiale ed entusiasta. Ho lasciato qualcosa presso l'ufficio del cliente e il cliente l'ha inviato per errore a un altro hotel con lo stesso nome. Il personale dell'hotel mi ha pazientemente aiutato a contattarmi e mi ha insegnato come arrivarci.

I visited the clink I lar hostel with two of my friends in February 2024. Now the staff was really friendly and lovely and the location was great. However, I was in a mixed room (with mostly men) because we were a group of 2 girls and one guy and the room was disgusting. There was absolutely no ventilation, windows didn’t open and there was no air conditioning so the room stank of body odour and sweat! It was very unpleasant… The bed layout was also really strange, two of the bunk bed sets, the ones at the corner of the room were sort of connected which meant that the man sleeping in the bed next to mine could just move his curtain and look into my bed, which he did and made me feel really uncomfortable. Other than that during our stay the kitchen was out of order which was also incredibly inconvenient because Dublin is so expensive. So in conclusion I would not really recommend if you’re a woman/queer person unless you stay in a private room or woman only room.

Myself & two friends checked in to a triple room (Room 7) on Friday 24th February 2023. The hotel room was dirty. The towels had “stains” on them and was not very clean at all. The bed mattresses had marks and stains on there and it felt very unclean. The room was unhygienic and extremely dusty. This reflects on your previous reviews from Trip Advisor. The window is rotting away and dirty, and in the morning, it was wet with condensation and the room made all our clothes and bedding feel damp and cold. On Saturday morning, there was no running water. When we spoke to someone at the hotel, they said it would be fixed that day. It was not. We spoke to someone again and they said the water would take time to come up to the room? We had no running water. Please be advised that one of the guests in the room is Disabled. He has a bowel condition meaning that he has to change his external stoma every day. Being unable to hygienically wash was a challenge and could have caused infection or serious health concerns. We could not use taps to brush teeth, we could not shower, and most importantly, we could NOT flush the toilet chain. Meaning our facilities were redundant. We did not pay 400 euros, to stay in a hostel. This is what it felt like. We were told to shower in a “communal” shower downstairs on the first floor. That was absolutely disgusting. Unclean and unhygienic and the water trickled out of the head of the shower, which effectively means we did not feel clean once we “Showered”. We addressed this again on Sunday to a lady on reception and nothing was done about it. When we checked out on Monday, we spoke to a man on the reception desk who did not really take me very seriously. I explained the issues and he just stood there and smiled and didn’t even apologise or offer any refund for these issues. We did not pay 400 euros to stay in a hotel with a shared shower. This is not advertised as a shared bathroom and a hostel. It is advertised as a B&B. Yes, a B&B that cannot meet basic Health and safety regulations. I told him I would escalate to **********. I spoke to them today, and they advised they contacted the hotel, and they would call me regarding this, which they have not done. I am very disappointed that we paid hard earned money to stay at your hotel, yet the basic minimum requirements were not met of: Cleanliness Hygiene Running water Clean bedding and towels We have written for a refund. If not, we may take action.

We stayed at the Beckett Locke in July 2023. After having a bad experience with another hotel we decided to book and check in at 10:30pm and as soon as we arrived we felt like we were home. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had so much space! The bed was comfortable and the block out curtains were great and we both slept so well. Having a washer dryer machine in the room was an extra bonus. Would highly recommend staying at any of the Locke accomodation (we’ve also stayed at a Locke in a London which was equally good!)

La stanza è un po' calda e non respirabile. Il resto è buono. E'molto conveniente accanto alla stazione di autobus. Il tipo di colazione dell'hotel è meno, ma il servizio è buono. Il gusto può anche vivere quando viaggia a breve termine

La nostra stanza era decisamente essenziale ma molto pulita è silenziosa poiché affacciata su un cortile interno. hotel strategico all'aeroporto, servizio prenotazione taxi Perfetto decisamente da viaggiatori di passaggio comunque ottima esperienza

Hotel fantastico con grande cibo. Il personale è stato così utile e la posizione è probabilmente la parte migliore. Grazie
