"L'hotel è situato nelle periferie della piccola città di Driffield, a East Ridings, Yorkshire. E' circondato da un muro di pietra così facile da vedere. Il parcheggio è a destra dell'hotel. La proprietà vittoriana, con la sua fasciata nera e bianca, è stata costruita nel 1864 come una casa per il commerciante locale, ed è stata ben restaurata dai suoi attuali proprietari con un sacco di pensiero, amore e attenzione messo in evidenza nello sviluppo. Purtroppo, è in vendita, quindi il suo futuro è piuttosto incerto. La ricezione è situata proprio davanti all'ingresso principale e il personale è stato felice e molto utile. Siamo sentiti che il contatto personale durante il nostro soggiorno di due notti all'hotel. La nostra camera Gramercy era enorme e molto decorata, con vista sul giardino ben tenuto. Ci era un grande, comodo letto e un sacco di posti a sedere. Il grande bagno aperto era situato vicino alla finestra. Il guardaroba all'angolo ha aiutato a mantenere la stanza intrigante, con te e servizi di caffè. Non c'era nessun frigo, ma il pantello fuori dalla nostra stanza, nella piccola zona privata, aveva latte fresco, acqua, una varietà di tè e cioccolato da bere, nonché contenitori di dolci e biscotti. Il segnale Wifi era buono. Il bagno era situato dietro il letto, separato da una cortina pesante. Ha una doccia e un bagno in un cubico chiuso separato. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante Mill e Vine, che è gestito separatamente dall'hotel. Il menu era limitato, il cibo era piuttosto medio, ma il servizio era eccezionale. Ci è stato davvero piacere il nostro soggiorno a The Highfield e saremmo molto dispiaciuti se il soggiorno di alta qualità che abbiamo vissuto fosse sacrificato per profitto, come spesso accade con i nuovi proprietari."

"Just returned from a lovely 1 night stay as this wonderful guest house. Nothing is too much trouble. We used the spa and had treatments on our stay. We had it all to ourselves for a couple of hours as we were offered an early check in due to the treatment times that were available. The spa is so beautiful, so clean and smells amazing. It’s in a beautiful purpose built building and overlooks the golf course. Beautiful views, but with one sided glass so still very private. The owners have thought of everything and there are changing rooms, toilets and a shower room in the spa area. We both had a treatment and the therapist was so lovely. I had a gorgeous mini facial and my husband had the luxury back massage. Our room was clean, comfortable with a huge bed and a lovely powerful shower. Tea and coffee, biscuits and a water machine just outside our room. They have an honesty bar in a lovely lounge overlooking the garden. We had booked Burts for our dinner but decided on the local pub instead. Huge portions and very reasonable prices. Just a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was lovely and all freshly prepared. You pre order when you arrive. Proper cafetière coffee, which we love to see. All in all this was a lovely, peaceful night away and just what we needed. Would love to stay again in ‘The Bothy’ when we have chance. Thank you ☺️"
