What an amazing experience to stay in this magical moderately sized Kasteel in the countryside. The host, Joris, made us feel quite at home and took care of all our questions and needs while we were there. I have stayed in many different types of lodging - but this was the first castle - I doubt any other castle could compare to the stay here.

Allereerst het kasteel. Wat een prachtig kasteel, waar je de geschiedenis in stapt. Het is een fantastische beleving met ook in de kamers een onbeschrijflijk gevoel. Als je de toren beklimt weet je ook niet wat je meemaakt en eenmaal op de top heb je een uitzicht, rust en vrij gevoel! Dan de gastheer, Joris. Wat een geweldige man is dat! Hij neemt de tijd voor je. Laat met alle liefde het kasteel zien en vertelt er ook het nodige bij. Humor, warmte en kunde komen samen bij deze man. Hij stookt het haardvuur 's avonds voor je op en zet 's morgens een geweldig ontbijt neer, volledig passend bij de sfeer van het kasteel. Wij zijn overdonderd en gaan dit nooit meer vergeten!

Geweldige accommodatie. Een kasteel waarin wordt geleefd. Het is een levend museum. Prachtige kamers met ieder een eigen sfeer. Een grote gezellige huiskamer met open haard En….Joris! Een fantastische gastheer met kennis van het kasteel, de omgeving en enorm gastvrij. Een heerlijk ontbijt met lokale producten en appelsap uit eigen boomgaard.

Wat een prachtig slot. In de torenkamer geslapen met prachtig uitzicht op de slotgracht en het bos. Bijpassend personeel met flair en humor. Leuke rondleiding gehad. Bij duister op het dak gaan staan van de toren en dat is een mooie belevenis. Enne … prima ontbijt!Wat een prachtlocatie
