The Postcard Cottage is a perfect location for a family/group of 4 or a romantic couples getaway. The well appointed kitchen is stocked full and equipped with stainless steel appliances for your use. There are 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and ample closets/storage. The spacious bathroom is located off the primary bedroom and features a large soaking tub with a fully tiled shower, marble tiled flooring and lighted makeup mirror. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use. PLEASE NOTE: ACCESS TO THE BATHROOM IS ONLY THROUGH THE PRIMARY BEDROOM. There is a beautiful large zen like screened in back porch to enjoy your morning cup of coffee with a good book or a glass of wine. In addition there is a sweet front porch with a view of the Kalamazoo River. Take an afternoon stroll through this quaint quiet neighborhood or walk a block away to enjoy a cup of coffee at Respite Cappuccino Court, breakfast at Happy Stance or cocktails at Everyday People among other choices. Also a 1/2 block away is the iconic Back Alley Pizza Joint. Wander just a few blocks away to Wades Bayou, where you can rent a paddle board or kayak and explore Lake Kalamazoo. One of our favorites is the Farmhouse deli in Douglas, offering everything from house made soup/sandwiches, bakery, salads to prepared meals, perfect to pack a picnic lunch. The Keeper's house is a complete second house with more privacy, a full living room, two (of the eight bedrooms), kitchen and fireplace.The Main house has a dining table with seating for 14 and a large living room which make sure that no one will be left out when gathered around the fire place.
