MmeiwentiGreat Hotel with Excellent Facilities, But Poor Tennis Court Experience
We stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located just 700 meters from the metro, making it easy to reach. The property is spacious and includes an outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, gym, a tennis court (details below), a large dining hall, and two separate massage areas offering various treatments.
Room & Service:
The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival. The staff were friendly and polite.
Food:
We’d rate the food 3.5 out of 5. The buffet is advertised as European, but the dishes lean heavily toward Chinese cuisine. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste, so we decided to skip dinner.
Massage:
There are two massage salons. We booked a foot massage, but the therapists ended up giving us an almost full-body massage, paying extra attention to sore areas. It was a wonderful experience — 5 out of 5.
Pools & Sauna:
Both pools are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you prefer fewer people, we recommend the indoor pool around 7 a.m. and the outdoor one around 2 p.m. The pools were clean and warm, and we appreciated the Swedish sauna in the locker room. Again — 5 stars.
Gym:
The gym is well-equipped and never crowded. Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. — another 5 stars.
Tennis Court:
Unfortunately, this was the only major disappointment. Despite several attempts to book and show up at the scheduled time, no staff were present. Phone calls were ignored or we were told, “I don’t have time to talk.” We eventually got a refund (booked via *******), but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Rating: 1 out of 5.
Overall:
Aside from the tennis court issue, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Great amenities, clean rooms, and a peaceful environment.

DDenzil Jr.Ho avuto il piacere di visitare l'hotel Dongguan MCB Lake all'inizio con i colleghi e poi sono tornato con la mia famiglia per un'altra fantastica esperienza. Le camere erano pulite e confortevoli, i membri del personale erano amiche e accoglienti, e l'accento era la piscina spaziosa e piacevole, e soprattutto la piscina indoor jacuzzi, aggiungendo al nostro relax e piacere. La mia famiglia ha avuto un bel tempo e si è sentita completamente rilassata durante il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo aspettato di tornare al Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel in futuro.

Il nostro soggiorno al Hill View Resort a Dongguan non era altro che magico!Abbiamo visitato un gruppo di sette amici per celebrare una vera occasione speciale, una delle nostre amiche più cari proposte al suo amato, e lei ha detto Sì! E' stata la mia prima volta che ho assistito a un momento così bello, e il resort ha fornito il perfetto contesto per questo piacevole evento.
Dalle splendide viste che circondano l'hotel fino alla tranquilla notte di frutta e al caldo del sole esterno vicino alla piscina, ogni momento si sentiva come un pezzo di cielo. Le camere erano **spaziose, pulite e confortevoli **, e i deliziosi colazione ci mantenevano energici per le avventure di ogni giorno.
Quello che si è reso veramente eccezionale è stato il servizio di servizio, il personale era gentile, attento e sempre pronto ad aiutare, rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
Abbiamo lasciato con solo lode per il Hill View Resort. Se stai cercando un ritiro pacifico con grandi strutture e calda ospitità, questo è il posto da essere! Molto raccomandato!

Straordinario
HHyouwaThe room I booked was an executive suite. It was large. It had two large rooms, a large bathroom and a walk in closet and a separate toilet. The decor is a little dated. But this did not make it feel any less grand. The previous hotel was more modern but this room is grander in scale.
the bedroom had a panoramic view of the city. We were on the 15th floor. The elevator was fast and would get you from 1 to 15 in 20 seconds.
The bathtub could be enjoyed in the dark with the blinds lifted something I took advantage of each day.
The toilets are not smart which I got used to in my previous hotel. But they did the job.
The shower had good water pressure, the rainfall shower was installed into the ceiling and it had great intensity.
The shampo, conditioner and gel were great and the toothpaste was Colgate.
There were some amenities listed but we're not available during our stay such as the executive lounges and bars, but the staff explained all the benefits could be enjoyed in the dining hall. There is a onsite pool, gym and sauna on the 5th floor along with a spa. I did not get to try the pool as I had no swim wear. But you could rent if you wanted.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was all very good with a lot of options. The freshly cooked noodle and grill station were amazing. I would recommend arriving when it starts or an hour into service as sometimes they begin to pack up before the service is closed.
Drinks were unlimited and so was the self serve gelato, which I frequented
The room was non-smoking and free from smells as requested which is a plus and I am thankful for, as this could ruin the experience for me and my pregnant partner.
The staff were all very welcoming and would greet us every day. Amenities and towels were replenished
The interior of the hall was grand the dining hall was decorated, high ceilings and lots of lights secured behind a safety net.
Dongguan I did not get to see much of. But it's a city that is in the midst of development with new metros being planned and in the midst of being built. I am excited to see how it changes.
Our stay was short but it is indeed one of our most memorable hotels. One due to the size and grandeur of the room and the second was the service provided.
