選擇這間酒店原因是酒店比較新，所以帶著「試試」的心情去體驗！先是Trip.com未有清楚提醒客人這間酒店的入口是與藝術館的入口相連同用，導致我要行了兩圈才找到這個玄關👎🏻。隨後登記入住前台服務員很有禮貌、專業及效率的讓我們盡快到房間休息👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻。基於是首次入住，所以我們預訂了全酒店唯一有118平方最大間的房間（服務員稱是總統套房），噢！一入房，很焗（熱）因為太大了！空調未能提供足夠及良好的溫度（兩日一夜都是這樣），隨後開始去探索房間的種種，發現了以下的問題👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
1）空調（冷氣）不足
2）電視機與搖控不配，導致不能看電影電視
3）冰箱沒有安插電源
4）茶具水煲沒有電源供應，所以不能享用
5）沒有提供便利拖鞋給客人使用
6）廁所馬桶與蓋子不配
7）淋浴間的門沒有把手（關門了便不能打開）
8）浴室中沒有掛架承托毛巾衣衫
9）淋浴間隔的玻璃牆壁出現裂隙（構成爆破危險）
10）沒有浴袍提供給客人使用
11）廁所內沒有承載紙卷的裝置（客人只能隨處擺放）
12）這個房間有118平方，但只得一個電話機
13）全房的電制插板太高了，客人根本用不上
14）浴室中沒有坐的椅子提供，不便客人美容化妝
15）按摩浴池的清潔度不佳
16）這間是「商務」的房間，就是燈光不足
17）沒有提供咖啡飲料（茶包只有兩包）
18）Trip.com說有行政酒廊、即食小食、汽水、水果、酒精飲品提供此房間客人享用，但以上所指出的「實在是沒有提供」，這是違反了「商品與說明條例」的嚴重情況
19）客人的私隱度及酒店內的保安程度要有所提升，例子：正常客人進入升降機時要用房卡才可以按下入住樓層，但送外賣員竟然可以自由出入客人樓層，或是有其他樓層的住客可以隨意前往不同的客房樓層，這樣是出現保安漏洞（拍卡系統形同虛設）

Hhappy explorerHotel is located below a billiard club with constant streaming of outsiders customers, smokers, noisy environment! Lobby and lounge area is used by other building visitors, delivery boys with obvious security lax. Not conducive as a hotel for vacationers.

HHyouwaThe room I booked was an executive suite. It was large. It had two large rooms, a large bathroom and a walk in closet and a separate toilet. The decor is a little dated. But this did not make it feel any less grand. The previous hotel was more modern but this room is grander in scale.
the bedroom had a panoramic view of the city. We were on the 15th floor. The elevator was fast and would get you from 1 to 15 in 20 seconds.
The bathtub could be enjoyed in the dark with the blinds lifted something I took advantage of each day.
The toilets are not smart which I got used to in my previous hotel. But they did the job.
The shower had good water pressure, the rainfall shower was installed into the ceiling and it had great intensity.
The shampo, conditioner and gel were great and the toothpaste was Colgate.
There were some amenities listed but we're not available during our stay such as the executive lounges and bars, but the staff explained all the benefits could be enjoyed in the dining hall. There is a onsite pool, gym and sauna on the 5th floor along with a spa. I did not get to try the pool as I had no swim wear. But you could rent if you wanted.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was all very good with a lot of options. The freshly cooked noodle and grill station were amazing. I would recommend arriving when it starts or an hour into service as sometimes they begin to pack up before the service is closed.
Drinks were unlimited and so was the self serve gelato, which I frequented
The room was non-smoking and free from smells as requested which is a plus and I am thankful for, as this could ruin the experience for me and my pregnant partner.
The staff were all very welcoming and would greet us every day. Amenities and towels were replenished
The interior of the hall was grand the dining hall was decorated, high ceilings and lots of lights secured behind a safety net.
Dongguan I did not get to see much of. But it's a city that is in the midst of development with new metros being planned and in the midst of being built. I am excited to see how it changes.
Our stay was short but it is indeed one of our most memorable hotels. One due to the size and grandeur of the room and the second was the service provided.

DDANIEL PATRIKIbis offers a comfortable and very convenient stay within walking distance of 2 metro stations, Qifeng Park, and many restaurants. While the room could have been cleaned better, the comfort, facilities and service by the friendly receptionists more than made up for it. I particularly appreciated being able to do laundry onsite and getting directions and advice from the staff.

阝阝東氵又丰一止La posizione dell'hotel è piuttosto buona, tra il distretto Rainbow e la strada Humen Walking, l'edificio dell'hotel fa parte di un condominio al di sopra di un centro di spedizione, quindi il lobby non è il pavimento, ma il terzo piano. MmeiwentiGreat Hotel with Excellent Facilities, But Poor Tennis Court Experience
We stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located just 700 meters from the metro, making it easy to reach. The property is spacious and includes an outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, gym, a tennis court (details below), a large dining hall, and two separate massage areas offering various treatments.
Room & Service:
The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival. The staff were friendly and polite.
Food:
We’d rate the food 3.5 out of 5. The buffet is advertised as European, but the dishes lean heavily toward Chinese cuisine. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste, so we decided to skip dinner.
Massage:
There are two massage salons. We booked a foot massage, but the therapists ended up giving us an almost full-body massage, paying extra attention to sore areas. It was a wonderful experience — 5 out of 5.
Pools & Sauna:
Both pools are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you prefer fewer people, we recommend the indoor pool around 7 a.m. and the outdoor one around 2 p.m. The pools were clean and warm, and we appreciated the Swedish sauna in the locker room. Again — 5 stars.
Gym:
The gym is well-equipped and never crowded. Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. — another 5 stars.
Tennis Court:
Unfortunately, this was the only major disappointment. Despite several attempts to book and show up at the scheduled time, no staff were present. Phone calls were ignored or we were told, “I don’t have time to talk.” We eventually got a refund (booked via *******), but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Rating: 1 out of 5.
Overall:
Aside from the tennis court issue, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Great amenities, clean rooms, and a peaceful environment.

The modern furnishings, high-quality bedding, and spacious layout made for a truly relaxing stay.
Location
The hotel is situated in one of Dongguan’s most vibrant districts, surrounded by bustling energy and endless entertainment options. Adjacent to the property is a massive shopping mall, providing guests with easy access to retail, dining, and leisure activities.
Executive Lounge Experience
Though located on a lower floor, the Executive Lounge is a true gem. The selection of delicacies was exceptional, with a variety of gourmet bites and premium beverages. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and attentive service—special thanks to Steven and Freya, who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made every visit to the lounge delightful.
Overall Impression
Without a doubt, the InterContinental Dongguan stands as the best hotel in the city. Its combination of modern luxury, prime location, and outstanding service—especially from staff like Steven and Freya—makes it a top recommendation for both business and leisure travelers. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

UUtente ospiteThe location is great, centrally located in the town and fair distance to the CP train station. Shopping centers restaurants and foot massage parlors are within walking distance.
The discount rooms are renovated later than other rooms so they are in better condition. I personally stayed in other rooms of this hotel before so I have such a comment.
The floor I stayed has a laundry room, and free laundry with dryers are available free for in house guests. Other than a pool hall and a karaoke bar, there is also a direct cross border bus service counter to HK, Macau Zhuhai and the SZ airport, so super convenient if you are flying after your stay.
Last but not least, the hotel offers a late check out until 1400 to all guests, no need to request. I would say it is value for money as it is only a local star rated hotel.
