Carlton Park Hotel

Ideal location to an event we were attending at the Don Valley bowl. Both guys on reception very helpful. Parking onsite which was great. Allowed us to check in early as we needed to attend an event. Room was clean and smelt clean also. Decorating and furniture was dated, but this didn’t affect our stay. There was a constant noise, possibly in the pipes… but it was something we got used to. I would stay again as it was reasonably priced, considering hotels closer to our event was 5 times the price. Thank you 🙂

Very standard. Not far from meadow Hall. Alot of facilities not open and door boarded up on the outside. Was just there for the boxing so did not spend long in hotel. Is good if you need somewhere cheap to crash

Wow. Where to begin. On booking in was told that only 'council guests' could book a breakfast, and if I wanted one I'd to walk to another hotel. The room had 1 functioning power socket. The other side of the socket place was loose and wouldn't take a plug. The pillows were as flat as a fart,pathetic. The regulator on the shower bar wasn't functional making the shower too hot to stand under. The room was uncomfortably warm, and there appeared to be no way of regulating the room temperature. The was a constant 'drilling' noise coming from somewhere which made sleep a virtually impossibility. I did complain about that but with no response. I am a very regular visitor to Rotherham, and have stayed in .our of the hotels in the town, this , without question is the worst.

The hotel, which was advertised as a 3-star property with corresponding images, was a complete misrepresentation. The reality of this hotel was appalling, and I strongly feel that it should not be listed on your website. Upon arrival, it was clear that the property was not as advertised: State of Disrepair: The hotel was dilapidated, with boarded-up sections, fallen signage, and walls showing damp and peeling wallpaper. It was nothing like the images presented online. Safety Concerns: The environment felt unsafe, especially at night. The noise and banging throughout the night made it impossible to sleep. Cleanliness: The room was dirty, with visible dust and a door that appeared to have been forcibly broken in the past. False Advertising: The pictures on your platform appear to be outdated by years, showing a property that no longer exists in that condition. This is the most appalling place i have ever stayed in and i would say Never Book here, this hotel is actually a homeless shelter and they are still advising a 3 star hotel and you can book to stay. Do not stay here!!!!
