The open air streetside tables allow an elevated view of the town, and it is a good place to while away a leisurly lunch. An excellent place to stop and eat (with parking close by) after exploring the Battlefield of Blenheim and the fortress above Donauworth that was the "Schellenberg", some ramparts still remain: both were vital military actions fought in July 1704 as part of the War of the Spanish Succession and victories for the British commander John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough. The food and drink were traditional Bavarian fair and we all had an excellent meal. The service was exemplary and we enjoyed our visit to the Golden Hind.

Auf Nachfrage ob wir unseren Weisswein im Weinglas bekommen, wurden wir zurechtgewiesen, dass dies nicht möglich ist. Vor 3 Wochen haben wir unseren Weißwein wie üblich im Weinglas bekommen. Da war es kein Problem. Wir haben daraufhin gesagt, dass wir dann Wasser wollen. Der Chef hat uns dann angepammt, auch wenn wir unseren Wein nicht trinken, müssen wir zahlen, was wir auch taten. Der Ton macht die Musik. Der Inhaber kann seine Göste wegen einem Weinglas nicht runtermachen. Der Abend war dann gelaufen. So schade ☹️ mit Stress kann der Chef leider nicht umgehen.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches Personal. die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, Zimmerservice wann immer man das will, Lage ist sehr zentral, Allerdings auch entsprechend laut , da direkt an der vielbefahrenen Reichsstrasse. Sehr gute Küche im oberen Günstig-Niveau, Frühstücksbüfett ausreichend und vielfältig. Bushaltestelle vor der Haustüre, Fahrradkeller abschliessbar, öffentliche Tiefgarage um die Ecke, und Bäcker vis a vis. Direkt über die Strasse ist der LiebfrauenDom.

Sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Hotel. Schöne, geräumige Zimmer, mehr als großes Bad. Nettes Personal, Essen im Restaurant war super und preislich gut. Frühstück okay. Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Zum wiederkommen und weiterempfehlen

Super freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen. Die Gerichte können in normal und klein bestellt werden. Die kleine Portion war für meine Brüder, Mama und mich perfekt. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Werden bestimmt noch mal wieder kommen!
