Beautiful little hotel, in a nice safe neighborhood, lovely breakfasts in the morning with coffee and yummy fruit juice, and easy access to old town Quito. Hernan, the owner was great--he personally spoke with us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable, providing us with a map of the area, directions to highlights to see in the city, and safety precautions. The Bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view down a steep hill to old town, to the basilica, and to "Virgen de El Penecillo" on the hill in the distance; but the street itself, was really loud due to busses, trucks and cars using their brakes to slow them down on the really steep cobblestone street. It did quiet down around 8 pm, so it wasn't much of an issue.

Great stay! Stayed 6 nights and Hernan fed us a traditional Ecuadorian breakfast every morning and gave useful and meaningful suggestions for where to go and what to see each day. Thoroughly enjoyed "Tenderness" by Oswald Guayasamin and eating at "La Vid". Hernan made the reservation and got us a table that looked out across Independence Square at the Cathedral. I recommend timing dinner with the sunset and the lighting up of the Cathedral. Hotel was easy walking distance to everything in historic old town Quito. Comfortable, sizable shower and quiet. Highly Recommend.

If u r looking to stay in Centro Histórico, this location is excelllent. The bonus was the attention I received from Hernan, the manager. Different local breakfast each morning, answers to all my questions about Quito. And one evening, he even led a small tour up to Panecillo (highly recommended). Great service. Great human being.

The hotel is located at a quiet street in central Quito, prominent to the landmarks in a convenient location. The host Hernan and Blanca made us feel like home with warm hospitality and accustomed to our different needs. He also helped us to arrange pickup from the airport and recommended tours.

Nice boutique hotel in the historical district of Quito. Close to restaurants, churches, museums and shopping. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were made with some Andean dishes and very tasty. The host Hernan and assistant, Blanca were friendly and helped with any of our needs, including transportation from and to the airport and restaurant suggestions and reservations.

We had a very nice stay at this quaint and quiet hotel. Hernan was a very attentive host and shared with us very good information about the city, sites to visit and restaurants to try, including setting up reservations. He also arranged both pick up and drop off from the airport which we really appreciated.

Located in the historic district, it was a pure pleasure to stay here. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, especially having freshly squeezed juice daily. They even arranged hotel pickup and drop off at the airport for me. The owner here is extremely accommodating, during my last day, viator cancelled my tour because of low registration and within an hour, I was well on my way for a very personalized tour! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful small hotel in a historical building in the Centro Historico. But their greatest asset is the manager, Hernan, and his assistant Blanca. Completely above and beyond, including multiple WhatsApp conversations before I arrived and detailed advice on everything from restaurants to how to best enjoy Mardi Gras in Quito. As an aside - I found Quito and the area perfectly safe, notwithstanding the incident that happened a month earlier in another province. If anything, it was a positive - so many people stayed away that the "smart" travelers had next to no lines at the better restaurants and major attractions like the Mitat del Mundo.
