Everything was perfect! Loved the vibe, the stay, the staff. The place is full of variety of flora. Our pets enjoyed a lit here, there was no restrictions on pets movement and this made our experience even better! Thank you! ❤️

This is our fourth visit to GRT kodaikannal. It's like our second home and all the staff treat like their own family member. I like their hospitality and quality of up keeping their property. They are also on expansion and looking g forward to another holiday soon with them. Liked their sustainable practices and the book Great butterfly effect was interesting to know their initiative and we have seen any plastic in their premises and appreciate their efforts.

I stayed in GRT Kodai for 3 nights, with a family of 6 adults in Nov-25. My experience was pleasant with minor quirks. If I have to highlight the experience, it would be around those points: What was exceptional: - Location: Property is at a fantastic location and offers you a 360 degree view all around. Its very peaceful and lush green surroundings with mountains 270 degrees. - Rooms: I have been to Kodai, Munnar, Ooty and Coonoor many times and I would say, the rooms were almost the best you will get around Kodai resorts. I stayed in the Wooden Chalet rooms (x3), and those were spacious and well maintained. The view from the rooms was fantastic, and the bathrooms were modern and well equipped. - Accessories: The rooms and bathrooms were loaded with quality accessories, so you will feel take care of well. - Restaurant and Management staff: The staff at the restaurant was well trained, pleasant and warm. We frequently visited Chef Mala and the serving staff in the restaurant and they were a delight. I would also like to specially mention the property manager Mr Sanathakumar, who was always on his toes to make out experience as better as it gets. - Breakfast: Buffet breakfast was rich and full of options. It was a very good mix of north and south Indian dishes, with live dosa counters and some continental options as well. What was not good and needs improvement: - Spa: One of the reasons we chose this property was the availability of the spa. But when we visited, we felt that the professional was underwhelming and not very interested in business. We asked about a few options, which she simply denied availability even though it was mentioned in the Spa book (hint: head and shoulder massage). - Reception staff: The reception is the face of the property and management, so you could not afford to keep staff which is untrained, cold or least interested in people engagement. For the first day, every time I interacted with them, I felt like they just want to get by with saying 'no' to everything. I arrived on Monday evening to celebrate my wife's b'day with a group of 3 couples (family), and the staff at the reception was just reading a script for me. For any facility query or requests he kept on saying 'not possible due to weather' or 'we will see how that goes', but I kept ignoring it considering it was probably just tiredness of EOD. I was offered complimentary foot massages for each member during the booking, which the evening staff refused to recognize and tried to convince me that it's for one person per room. After some discussion we sorted it out that day. After that, the next morning when we started using those, the morning reception staff first refused saying 'there are no complimentary massages' and then came back to 'one massage per room' again which made me further very annoyed, as I felt they were not even reading the booking confirmation.
