Hôtel les Reflets Jaunes

The rooms were dowdy air conditioning didn’t work my room had no controller they promised to bring one but didn’t so I borrowed one from friend in another room friends room had no toilet paper my bed was hard with blankets from the war and my pillows smelt disgusting there was meant to be a mini bar but fridge was empty none of electrics worked by the bed ( lights and plugs ) on the up couldn’t fault bathroom been refitted and was huge the town was a let down could only find 2 restaurant serving food that was open the others were just snack places go one street back from the beautifull river frontage and it is so run down will never come here again dinant up the road is the to go

The rooms are awful, musty and old , the air conditioning units are useless , the sweat was pouring from us , the pillow is so hard it gives you a headache , the bed was like a slab of concrete, with a horrible wool like sheet from the 40,s or the war , i didn’t think sheets like this still existed, the bathrooms are dated , one room had no toilet paper , another no air conditioning control box, the kettle had no plug socket to plug it in and had to be moved to the floor , the carpet in the rooms had seen better day , broken curtains, we all occupied four different rooms and they were all pretty much the same , depressing , it was a depressing end to the holiday , your not even allowed to take your coffee to the bedroom from breakfast or your charged , we had to pay for rooms before we had seen them and if we had seen them first we would of left, truly dowdy depressing place .

We walked 20+ kilometers to Givet from Dinant, and were more than ready for a hot shower and a relaxing evening. What we got was a hotel that was closed. We were given keys and access codes via telephone, and found we were the only living souls in the place. Our room (the "famiy suite") was large and clean, if a little worn. There was a pot to boil water for tea, but no electrical outlets to plug it into...we figured it out. But when I ran the water for a shower... NO HOT WATER. And yes, we tried everything! I phoned the mystery voice, and was told there is nothing he can do to fix it. We used the teapot to heat water for a sponge-bath, but that's cold comfort when you've paid for a proper hotel room. We saw no one the following morning; there was no answer on the phone. No good.

L’hôtel bien situé, il est facile de se garer à proximité. La chambre est correcte, la salle de bain est grande. Côté propreté un peu juste, des cheveux dans la serviette de toilette, un interrupteur démonté, des affaires du précédant client dans l’armoire.

Ne correspond pas à la description, tout est vieillot et pas très net. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible pour le prix...pas de beurre ni de confiture...cake de chez carrefour,petits pains précuits.... Excréments d'hirondelles sur la moquette, moisissures dans la douche, Drôle d'odeur dans la chambre. Accueil fermé à notre arrivée (14h10) En plus Givet est une ville morte. Vraiment très déçus.

Après avoir roulé 100 km en vélo, je suis arrivé épuisé à 18h et l'hôtel était malheureusement complet. Sensible à ma détresse, le gérant s'est coupé en quatre pour trouver une solution et a fait préparer une très belle chambre normalement non disponible dans laquelle il y avait un léger problème technique sans importance pour moi. Très bon petit déjeuner et personnel très sympathique . A recommander !
