I stayed 1 night at this hotel with my wife during my trip to Georgia and Armenia in June. The hotel is big and comfortable. The room was huge, with a nice sofa, a small table and one of the biggest beds I’ve ever slept in! It stands on a quiet corner of Dilijan, embedded in a small forest of big pine(?) trees. The hotel has a small inner pool and sauna, together with a and gymnasium and massage center, being perfect for families with kids. The minus was just that, like other hotels we’ve stayed at during this trip, it seems that the hotel was built with paper walls: one can hear all the noises around like we were outside the room. Other annoying “feature” of almost all the hotels we stayed at in this trip, is that it seems that both Armenia and Georgia have no concept of window shades, which means that one wakes up at 5:30 a.m. with the daylight. Apart from that, it was a really nice stay at a good hotel.

We stayed at Dilijan Resort Hotel for one night in a deluxe double room with balcony. The hotel is set in a lovely, forested location on the outskirts of town. The room was a good size, but unfortunately the curtains were very thin and ineffective in blocking outside light. This was not conducive to a good nights sleep. Further, no bottled water nor tea and coffee were provided in the room, although there was a kettle and cups. In addition, staff in the dining room appeared like they did not want to be there, and tried to persuade us to eat from a buffet being provided for a tour group dinner. As we were not a member of that tour group we declined and insisted on selecting our own meal, which resulted in menus being thrown on the table in front of us. Staff attitude in the dining room needs a lot of improvement!

Our birdwatching group stayed here for 2 nights. The entrance hall is very grand but the bedroom I was in was very outdated, and the curtains were not big enough to close across the vast window. If you are a vegetarian the buffet selection is pretty rubbish even though it might look like there is a lot - salad leaves, cheese and bread and cake and fruit were all I found

Located in its own park this hotel sports a grand lobby, enormous rooms and a range of services. The room was a bit run down though, and the food in the restaurant mediocre. A very noisy party dominated the evening. Personally I prefer a smaller hotel with more character.

Hotel Dilijan Resort is a nice and friendly hotel to stay for a night or two. The only issue that we noticed was the lack of an air conditioner and the bathroom was too small to move around; though, the room was very specious and had a separate seating area. The balcony was a nice touch since the weather at night during summer months is great. It also offered full daily breakfast which was included in the room rate.

What an interesting hotel. Set in parkland, the late Soviet era hotel is enormous. Comfortable and very large rooms. Very bizarre design with lifts stopping between floors rather than on floors so you need to walk up or down to reach your room Highlight though was the included dinner and breakfast. Never ending quality food from soups, salads, meats and vegetables and onto great dessert. Way too much for any human to eat so I hope the leftovers went somewhere! Only negative was pretty woeful internet. They need to add routers in each room or nearby.

В этот раз решили погостить в этом замечательном отеле. Всё очень хорошо. Хорошое обслуживание. Еда по качеству очень хорошее соотношение и цена. Персонал тоже хороший. Бассейн большой и чистый. Комната прасторная,чистая,По 10и бальной шкале все вместе оцениваю твёрдый 8.

Énorme hôtel de style soviétique et nettement dépassé. Il y avait deux ascenseurs dans l’immense hall dont un en panne... Quant au palier, il se situe entre deux étages ce qui est évidemment idéal quand on a des valises ! Certes, les chambres sont grandes et munies d’un minibar mais vide. Le mobilier semble dater des années 40. Les prises électriques sont intelligemment situées derrière les meubles. Nos deux lampes de chevet étaient en panne. La chambre sentait un peu le tabac. Le lavabo n’avait pas de bonde. Il y avait des pantoufles, mais pas de peignoir, ce qui est plutôt étonnant pour un hôtel qui se targue d’une grande piscine et d’un spa. Quant au restaurant immense avec 10 m de plafond, il offrait un nourritures tout à fait moyenne. Donc : à éviter.

De kamers waren zeer ruim, zoals steeds in dit soort hotels. De bedden waren ok. De badkamer was in verhouding met de rest van de kamer aan de kleine kant. Ontbijt niet aangepast aan huidige normen, zo was er bijvoorbeeld geen brood bij het ontbijt. Je kan hier ook een avondmaal nuttigen, maar dat is allesbehalve een aanrader.
