Super friendly staff. From the bell hops, to the check in staff. Even the staff that managed the door entrance to the hotel rooms itself were extremely polite and friendly. The room was great and clean. Had a great time. Definitely will visit again.

Andrea and Sherry were absolutely amazing! They were extra slammed and still served us with care and courtesy. They were attentive and made sure we had what we needed, despite being the only two working a crowd of 70+ people. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Large, modern and well maintained rooms with lots of light, good service too. And good value for the money. Courtyards vary in quality, and we've stayed in some marginal ones (like the one on West 54th St., Manhattan), but this one is the best that I recall staying in. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I save the 5th star for hotels that offer some elegance, which this doesn't pretend to have.

Great second time stay in Detroit here. Originally visited here in October 2022 to catch a devils red wings game at little Caesar’s arena due to to close proximity to this venue. Had a pleasant stay here although was super short as I arrived mid afternoon and left very early morning next day. I decided to book again for another devils red wings hockey game event at little Caesar’s arena in January 2023 and was even more impressed with this stay. Upon arriving at 3, first encounter was with valet to drop off my car. Very pleasant and made me feel quite welcomed (note there is only valet parking here and there is an extra fee for this). Then stopped by the front desk to see if a room was available to check in and the front desk manager (can’t recall the name) was so pleasant and provided and alternate room To check into immediately. It was an upgrade due to diamond status and the room didn’t disappoint at all. Additionally reminded me about the food and beverage credit and breakfast in the morning and went out of his way to provide some snacks and bereaves due to the unexpected delay with the computer system taking a while to process the keycard (thank you!!). Room itself was corner king suite - clean and large room perfect to unwind a little while before heading out the game. Little Caesar’s Arena is short walk to and from. Next morning stopped by for breakfast which again didn’t disappoint and the server / hostess made me feel welcome and as if I was at home! Had a fresh omelette made with some waffles coffee snd potatoes. All fresh, tasty and filling. Overall can’t say enough positive things about this location and the staff, and look forward to my next Detroit stay here.

I spent one night at the Hollywood ****** at Greektown. I did not visit the ******. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line. I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs. I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the ******, or go out.

• The owners are growing their brand and currently renovating this property. • The owner seems to genuinely care about the property, the guests and the quality of service. • Overall the front desk staff is professional and cordial; but, there is on bad apple in the bunch - - a guy who is imperious and overbearing and who acts as if the guests are somehow beneath him. If you ever get flagged as a ”bad guest,” it was done by this guy; check your credit card bill for a ”ghost charge” (i.e. one you did not make or authorize). • Given time, this property may be a quality go-to boutique hotel. Hopefully, without any ”bad apples”.
