Viking Motel-Detroit

While I appreciated the convenient location, friendly staff, functional wifi, HDTV cable TV, reasonably comfortable bed, fridge + microwave in the room and decent hot water, I did not appreciate the mould, ants, roaches, hard to regulate temperature (it was always either too hot or too cold), evidence of decay that was painted over, broken furniture, the giant gap under the door that brought cold air in (and also giant outside bugs), dirty floors and the $100 per night price. Plus, the city condemned part of the property because it's falling apart. I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I was expecting better than this. I'll let you make your own decision on whether or not to stay here, but I never will again.
