We absolutely loved staying at Naked Stables! We needed a little escape from the city and this resort provided just that and more. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, special thanks to Mr Simmons, our wonderful host who acocmodated us with everything we needed. He was kind, always ready to help and advise. He really made us home here. Also shout out to chef Eric who’s cooking is excellent and he also pays extra attention of those with food allergies. The spa is also great and clean. Our little hut was super comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. They offer great daily activities that are super fun (they also have activities for kids and families) and bike rental is free which is great for those who want to explore the surrounding area. Overall, it was an awesome experience and we’ll be back for more! ☺️

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Naked Stables, and it was such a memorable experience. This was meant to be the relaxing part of our trip, but with so many fun activities on offer, we found ourselves joyfully busy most of the day! There’s something for everyone — from horse and pony rides to pottery, yoga, archery, billiards, and children’s classes. Some activities are complimentary, while others are paid. There’s also a lovely spa and a large kids’ playroom on-site, which we didn’t have the chance to use this time. The resort is set in the hills and surrounded by bamboo forests, so hiking to and from your room during the day makes for a great little workout. Do note there are quite a few stairs around the property and in the rooms themselves due to the terrain. Guests get around by golf cart, which you can easily request through a WeChat mini program. We were graciously upgraded to a two-bedroom villa — a beautiful, cozy space that felt instantly like home. It was so peaceful and comfortable that it was tempting not to leave at all! The villa has a full kitchen and BBQ, so if you plan ahead, you can bring groceries and enjoy home-cooked meals with a view. Upstairs you’ll find the kitchen, living, and dining area, while the bedrooms are downstairs. There’s even a hot tub on the balcony, which our son absolutely loved and used every evening. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious, with a tub by the window that let you soak while taking in the scenery. The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and truly farm-to-table. The resort’s own farm, just outside the gates, supplies much of the produce. There are three restaurants and a café on-site. The Western restaurant currently opens only on weekends, so during our stay we enjoyed all our meals at the Chinese restaurant, as Kikaboni (the smaller venue) was fully booked the evening we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet offered a nice mix of Western and Chinese options, all of which were delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. While not everyone speaks English, the managers do, and translation apps made communication easy when needed. All in all, Naked Stables offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and activities — a place where you can be as relaxed or as active as you like.

Wonderful time with the kid. Everything was arranged very well. And we had the wonderful Mr Simmons and the other staff taking care of all our requests. Making it an unforgettable weekday getaway! Highly recommended for everyone really.

My stay at the Naked Stable Retreat was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of nature, the accommodations offered a remarkable sense of privacy, allowing us to feel as if we were one with the surrounding woods. The air was fresh, and the soothing sounds of birds provided a healing backdrop that encouraged relaxation. The retreat offers a variety of complimentary activities, including horse riding and pottery lessons, making it easy to immerse oneself in the natural beauty. The complex features well-maintained walking trails, multiple swimming pools, and three restaurants, all set against a stunning hilly backdrop adorned with coniferous forests, bamboo groves, and tea plants. Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a fantastic selection of Chinese, European, and African dishes, catering to every palate. This is not just a hotel; it’s a thoughtfully designed retreat dedicated to enjoying nature, escaping the stresses of daily life, and engaging in activities that promote a healthier and happier lifestyle. I must highlight the exceptionally friendly staff. Upon arrival, we were assigned a private assistant via WeChat, Simmons_911, who was always available to provide information and guide us through our daily activities, from restaurant bookings to extended check-out arrangements. The responsiveness and flexibility of the staff truly enhanced our experience, and it was a pleasure to have the General Manager personally welcome us. For those who prefer not to walk, electric buggies are available to navigate the complex, ensuring comfort in the heat. I can't praise this retreat enough! It has certainly become a place I will dream about whenever I yearn for those precious moments of relaxation and enjoyment. Highly recommend!

My second time to Naked Stables was just as wonderful as I remembered! The consistency to customer service and care remains impeccable. This time I brought my mother and she was so delighted by the charm of the hotel. See you next time!

Words can’t describe how beautiful our stay was at Naked Stables resort in Moganshan. Aside from the beautiful location with the lush greenery and amazing wildlife, the hotel and room architecture was very beautiful. The range of activities was never ending with enough activities for everyone. We did the resort trail horse ride and the complimentary land rover experience and they were unforgettable. The stables are very clean and the trainers and staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed during the Dragon Boat Festival national holiday and although the hotel was fully booked the staff was very attentive and all our needs were met. There is a daily activities schedule which is updated every day and the dining options are diverse and very tasty. I would recommend checking the weather in advance to fully enjoy the activities but we will definitely be visiting this beautiful resort again in the future.
