Ho trascorso un soggiorno di 2 giorni in questo hotel. Da recente progettazione, le camere sono situati a piedi piatti intorno a un giardino di intrattenimento. Tutto era nichel, personale amabile. Ben situato nel centro della città. Nessun rumore notturno da consigliare senza esitare.

When it comes to thinking of places to visit in Belgium, the town of Aalter in East Flanders, probably isn't the first place to spring to mind. Granted it doesn't have the charm of the Belgian coast, or the bustling hubbub of the larger, more tourist-oriented attractions, but its central location halfway between the cities of Gent and Brugge make it an great place from which to explore. The 4-star Best Western Hotel Orchidee in the center of Aalter provides an ideal base where you can plan your explorations. Aalter train station is a 15 minute walk away, and from there you can catch one of the regular trains to Gent or Brugge, with either journey taking half an hour. Alternatively, as the E40 motorway is just a few hundred meters from the hotel, both cities are accessible by car in around 20 minutes. I stayed at Hotel Orchidee for 3 nights just after Easter, 2022. The earliest check in is 2pm, and so this was the time I designated upon booking. (A word of caution for those hoping for a late check in. The reception desk closes at 11pm.) I arrived at the hotel at 2:05pm and was greeted by Piet, the hotel manager, who told me that my room would be ready in 10 minutes. There are several facets that I would expect from front of house staff - especially the manager - of a 4-star hotel. One of these is that they should be well groomed, besuited preferably, but nevertheless tidy in appearance. After all, they represent the hotel, a guest's first impression of what they might expect; and as the saying goes ”You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.” My first impression of Piet was that he was someone for whom sartorial elegance was not a phrase he was familiar with, with one too many buttons open on his creased shirt and apparent indecision on whether said shirt should be tucked in his trousers or not. Still he was amiable enough and pointed to the spacious, well-appointed bar off to the right of reception, where I could wait for my room. Whilst waiting, in addition to noting that the bar staff were better attired than the manager, I had time to peruse the menu, and discovered that a hungry guest could choose from crisps, nuts, a plate of cheese and salami, or a Croque Monsieur. Not exactly what I would expect from a 4-star hotel kitchen. I would later discover that the reason for this limited dining experience is due to the fact that the hotel does not employ a chef. Piet the manager is apparently chief, cook, and bottle washer, which probably explains why room service is not offered. My room was on the second floor overlooking the car park (which incidentally provides free parking, except on Saturdays when the Farmers Market is held), and no fewer than six bottle banks that are almost constantly in use throughout the day. If, like 1970s singer-songwriter Nick Lowe you ”love the sound of breaking glass”, this will make you feel right at home, otherwise it's somewhat irksome. Appartiene ad un hotel di alta qualità, in una piccola città, il centro di Liu è 3.5 chilometri.C'è un ristorante nel palco, il sapore è buono e non è costoso. Centinaia di metri dall'hotel c'è una strada che è un ristorante, e il paesaggio è molto bello.Il parcheggio è grande gratuita.

Con una domanda, il miglior hotel e la brasserie a Kortrijk. Ho soggiornato lì diverse volte mentre visitavo la famiglia. Amo l'amichevole, sincera ospitalità e attenzione ai dettagli. Non perdere il cibo nella birra, il cibo è delizioso e molto superiore ad altre opzioni nella zona. Ho tenuto una funzione privata là per 20 persone, il personale ha gestito la logistica perfettamente e il pasto è delizioso.

Prima volta che soggiorno a Kortrijk per lavoro e mi viene consigliato questo hotel. Prenotiamo 3 camere nell'ala nuova a Sud. Non comodissima da raggiungere a causa del cantiere ancora aperto. Il garage privato non è ancora disponibile ma noi abbiamo sempre trovato posto per strada dove dalle 19 alle 9 il parcheggio è gratuito. Hotel praticamente di fronte alla stazione quindi comodo per chi si muove in treno. Ho dormito bene senza accusare alcun problema di rumore dovuto ai treni nonostante la camera affacciasse proprio sulle banchine. Le camere sono grandi ma per i miei gusti eccessivamente scarne e vuote. Il bagno comodo e spazioso. Ho chiesto di cambiare camera in quanto me ne era stata assegnata una con vasca da bagno e mi hanno accontentata senza battere ciglio. La colazione è buona ma non mi ha particolarmente colpita. Non c'erano i classici Cornflakes ma solo riso soffiato bianco e al cioccolato. Ho provato anche la piscina che ho trovato piacevole anche se la temperatura dell'acqua doveva essere un pochino più alta.

Rimaniamo qui regolarmente da quando l'hotel è stato aperto e è sempre in una suite, Questa volta non era disponibile per prenotare, quindi andammo a ”suita di business” pensando che, a parte la grande tavola conferenze, tutto sarà lo stesso. Ha un'accarezzabile disposizione - il bagno è alla porta anteriore, quindi c'è un lungo cammino verso la camera da letto dove c'è un bagno - è stretto e solo con una doccia, non un bagno - scusate, mi aspetto entrambi nella suite, Come in quella che ci era stata prima, c'è una tavola con 8 sedie, apparentemente per le riunioni di affari, ma non ci sono sockets in prossimità, tranne per la cucina. Inoltre, il wifi è molto povero, mio marito ha fatto la chiamata importante e è stato disaccoppiato. Il segnale telefonico è incoerente - da E, a 3G a 4G a volte. Se l'hotel chiama la suite aziendale - è fuorviante perché non ha strutture commerciali di base. Passerò i commenti dal checkout, ma il ricevitore non mi ha chiesto come fosse il mio soggiorno. Ha appena preso il pagamento senza dire molto. Poiché abbiamo avuto questa grande tavola, pensavamo che potremmo usarla e ordinare il servizio in camera. Puoi farlo solo a partire dalle 6:00 e 25 euro per hamburger è prezioso, ma ci siamo andati per questo perché non c'è nulla in prossimità.
