Fantastic and very helpful manager rescued us from the storm. We called in on the off chance of getting a room for the night during a heavy downpour - and met a very helpful manager who gave us a fabulous room. Quite, very comfy bed, big room, good shower, and great location - all at a very reasonable cost. And even threw in a continental breakfast for free. One of the best motels we have stayed in, and we will be back.

We booked a family room and it was fantastic. Large and really well appointed, including a little kitchenette. Heaps of room for the little one to run energy off in the larged grassed area next to the pool. Across the road from a pub and easy walk to bakery. The owners were warm and friendly and it was a bonus being able to use the complimentary laundry. Brilliant value, will always stay here when in the area again.

Well appointed, clean and tidy and a reasonable price. Highly recommended. We had a room with a double and a single. Although we had a late check in, the key was in the door and a receipt for payment inside the room. Very friendly and 'accommodating' people to deal with.

We were driving back to Adelaide after seeing Taylor in Sydney so the daughter was devastated that it was all over, until she got to rest at the Settlement. She declared her bed to be the best that she'd ever slept in (and coming from a teen who's reluctant to stay overnight anywhere because she loves her own bed so much, that's saying something). The room was perfectly clean, pretty spacious and offered all amenities we needed for an overnight - it would also be ideal for longer stays. Victoria was super welcoming and the offered some great local knowledge. The included breakfast packs were a cute surprise.

We stayed here for an overnight stopover travelling between Adelaide & NSW to visit family for Christmas. This was a very convenient mid-way point and Victoria and David were wonderful hosts. Our family room was spacious and comfortable for our group of two adults and two kids, and the pool was a welcome feature and the end of a long summer's day on the road! Will definitely consider staying with Victoria and David again!

Will never come back here. Lady who owns the place accused me and kept asking who the several different men were coming to my room when it was just myself and my boyfriend. She then went to accuse us of letting people shower in our room because our friend came by for 5 minutes and dropped off my boyfriend’s wallet. He has a house down the road, why would he need to use the shower? We went to work and when we arrived home the following day we were abused and screamed at from the lady who owns this establishment. She yelled out to my boyfriend “Oi. You” to get his attention and was very very nasty to him while they were having a conversation in which she repeatedly stated one of “our friends” came to visit and said that a man came on ***** trying to get into our room and break into their house. We did not or have never heard of this man nor did we have any involvement in the issue. She spoke to us very nastily for about 10 minutes about the situation that we had nothing to do with. We paid $200 a night to stay here for two nights and just got absolutely grilled by the evil woman who owns this place for NO REASON! We kept quiet and tidy and were just trying to relax. This woman is rude, nasty and disrespectful and doesn’t deserve to run a business. Feel sorry for her husband, he was very cool. Hope no one ever gets treated with the level of disrespect and rudeness that we were treated. Will NEVER give my money to them again. Disgusting
