Hotel in zona Flutter Boutique, Denham Springs

My stay here was interesting. I was visiting for a social event for the weekend. I didn't need to spend a lot of money; just somewhere nearby the location and a clean place to bathe, do some work on my computer, and sleep. I received all of these comforts, and I even went as far as wiping down my counters, toilet, TV remote and phone and there was NO residue on my disinfectant wipes. While my stay here was a little above average, there are some things that are subjective to my needs but also areas that need to be improved. PROS: - BUDGET friendly - Pleasant staff - Easy check-in - CLEAN room - In room microwave and refrigerator (with freezer) - Close to freeways - Short driving distance to places to eat and stores - Parking space outside my room - Free cable channels - CUTE kitty sitting outside my door (I LOVE cats!) CONS: - LOUD stench of cigarette smoke while entering/exiting my room - WiFi service is shaky - Unable to access the apps on the TV for streaming ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT - The cigarette containers, which are between guests' doors, need to be away from them. Those who don't smoke shouldn't have to smell it - I had to go to the front desk area to connect to the Wi-Fi signal - Connecting to the streaming services on the TV was impossible. When I turned it on, the different services flashed for half a second. I didn't reach out to the front desk because it wasn't a big deal but if this is a service, it needs to be easily accessible I believe if the above mentioned is improved, this could be a 5-star place. Again, this location is not for someone who is looking for special amenities but for the budget-friendly traveler. I also suggest not getting a room on the ground floor close to traffic. I had a difficult time sleeping but preferred that location for safety reasons. Also, ask the front desk representative if there are any rooms that do not currently have guests next door. It's not a guarantee that there won't be any noise but I'm a light sleeper and don't like having to sleep with my ear plugs unless necessary while I'm traveling.

Excellent one night stay. Ample parking in well-lit lot, with several nearby businesses so we felt safe even with a late check in. Check in and out were smooth with no issues. Renovated room had plenty of space and the layout offered plenty of luggage storage. Room was clean and everything we used worked. Quiet room and comfortable beds allowed us a very restful sleep. Would definitely recommend.

Ci sono alcune cose su questo hotel che non sono il mio preferito. Ad esempio: prelevano un deposito di 50$ rimborsabile che deve essere su una carta di debito/credito. Non ci sono assolutamente eccezioni e il deposito non può essere trasferito a un nuovo significato di prenotazione: se si desidera soggiornare un'altra notte, la camera deve essere pagata per 11am o un altro deposito di $50 sarà caricato sulla carta. Se paghi prima delle 11:00, prolunghi semplicemente la prenotazione attuale e non è richiesto alcun nuovo deposito. Questo deposito può richiedere fino a 15 giorni di business per apparire sulla tua carta. Ciò significa, se non lo tengono per qualche ragione non sensata.

My first stay here and very impressed with it. Very nice friendly manager checked me in and asked me later if any problems. Room 106, well prepared room. Very nice large , clean room, working desk and chair. Separate kithen unit, very pleased as my first stay, gets my vote Wifi a good 31+ Meg, no problems.
