This an orchid lover’s paradise! There are orchids in all the gardens that surround the premises. The room and bathroom newly renovated. Good food which is presented exquisitely. Staff was very kind and helpful

Uzhupud Garden is an historic home and hotel that has been brought back to life by new owners. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The restaurant and food is excellent. It has a large and very beautiful garden with local plants from Ecuador. The garden is full of humming birds and a great place to walk and relax. We stayed for 5 days for a orchid and plant show that was held in the garden. The service was very good and the staff are all very friendly. The hotel has full service and a great lounge and bar or sit outside on the patio overlooking the pool area. The hotel is about a 30 minute drive from Cuenca airport.

Love it. Quiet and safe. TV was an issue and I had small children. Food a bit pricey. Overall amazing place.

First we came here just for lunch as it was recommended by family and it was absolutely amazing so we planned my father in laws 88th birthday party. Very impressive start to finish. You are invited to relax and enjoy the grounds and we were assisted in planning the party by Juanita which made sure our party was a success. Angelo Coronel who speaks perfect english assisted us for lunch and made sure we were well served and taken care of 200%. Angelo was extremely professional and made us feel at home with his wonderful conversation both in perfect english and spanish as not all of the party spoke spanish. Angelo really made our day special and even accompanied us to our car with our luggage the next day. Fernando also made sure the party was perfect and I cannot think of anything missing or could of been better. Our first day of arrival we met the owner who also spoke english and raised orchids in Ecuador and also has an orchid farm in Florida. We were invited for fresh bread hot from the oven before our lunch and to view the incredible lush grounds. We stayed at the hosteria and got a upgraded room with a balcony overlooking lush gardens, pool, jacuzzi and beautiful mountains. The staff gave us extra chairs and tables so our family could sit outside and enjoy the weather and they even brought us paper and pens so we could play games. My family will remember our time here always and remember if you go to Uzhupud Gardens you must seek out Angelo Coronel as he will make sure you have a smile on your face!

El lugar tiene muchísimo potencial, la decoración es bonita, pero el día que fuimos la piscina estaba fría y aunque pedimos temperarla eso nunca pasó. El turco no funcionaba, algunas zonas ya se ven descuidadas y sin mantenimiento, la tensión no es mala pero nada que destacar… La comida en el restaurante de igual forma no es mala pero nada que destacar.
