Delavan Inn and Suites

No pictures on the walls in the room. Looked like some type of foam in the room I had was on the floor. Desk was chipped and old looking. Hardly any breakfast.

I can't say how long they've been trying to remodel, but I can say it seems they're remodeling the hotel while still trying to use the rooms. My room had a new mirror and tile floor, but one of the lamps didn't work, the arm chair was filthy, the carpet was disgusting & some of the colors in my TV didn't work so it was hard to watch. My bed had a bedspread and fleece blanket on it, no actual bedding - no comforter or anything. I had to ask for another fleece blanket because I was absolutely freezing. I will say the staff were nice and welcoming, but they did act as if I was hiding the fact that I brought my dog with me. When I checked in I was never asked if I had a dog. I reserved my room through ******* and was never asked then either. I walked my dog in through the front door, not trying to hide anything. The front desk saw him multiple times before asking me if I ''declared the dog'' and then was told I had to pay extra for him. Ok, no problem. But I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was doing something wrong. I likely won't stay here again. The grounds outside were a mess with things laying everywhere and grass having not been mowed in a couple weeks. The room was lackluster but it worked for the time being. If you're looking for just a bed to sleep on, that's about what you're getting. I didn't try the breakfast. I walked by but didn't see anything at all that looked good.

Location was convenient, the staff was pleasant and the price was great. Definitely will stay there again.

I stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast options were extremely limited with almost no selection. Bed was an adequate mattress on a wire frame. Sheets were not changed during the stay. Towels were thin and well used.

Check in was easy and quick, check out was just as smooth. Hallway and room doors showing their age, but it seemed that the room had been updated a few years ago and was fine. While it would have been pleasing if the waffle batter had been refilled when the reservoir ran empty, we got there towards the end of the breakfast period and haven’t much cause to gripe. Over all it was a good value.

Furniture in room was old and beat up. Upgholstery on chairs was filthy.
