Sarovar portico rajpur road dehradun offers excellent hospitality and comfortable rooms with modern amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the in-house restaurant serves delicious meals, especially the breakfast buffet. Conveniently located near key attractions, the hotel provides a pleasant stay despite a slightly under-equipped fitness center. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Sarovar portico in dehradun is small property located perfectly in the most prominent area rajpur road. Its a clean and cozy property the rooms are large sized. Wash area is a spacious and well appointed the best part is everything works. The staff is very polite and non intrusive. Especially members on the front office mahesh are cordial and helpful. They can improve their breakfast menu and its quality. Parking is a bit of squeeze in the working hours as it's shared by a bank and other offices. Overall a comfortable value for money stay

This place was my second choice… Good part: On main road, good food joints nearby, nicely made. Bad parts: Window is useless. It opens on wall right away. You need to request room slippers You need to request for basin napin It takes time for hot water to come. TV won’t start then need to call room service. Reception staff ok ok. Not very welcoming. Worst: There is no mattress cover on the mattress. Straight way they have put the bed sheet. So all night you will be feeling the rough lines of the mattress and not feel good about it. House keeping tells us that we don’t have mattress cover. I would choose a different place next time. See image. Expensive place for this price and service.

Property location- Prime and all basic amenities within reach.
Parking space- Congested
Food- Above average. Less options in menu and even breakfast not upto the standards sarovar is supposed to have.!
Services- Staff needs training. Check in staff lacked basic courtesy, etiquettes and manners.
Check out staff- Shruti was there, and was far better than the others. The only one i could name…was great.
Rooms- Average. Needs more attention specially by housekeeping staff. Linens were not washed. Basic toiletries missing. I mean i can’t keep on asking for basic dental kit etc. A room must cater for the requirement of two.
In room dinning- Fast service however you need to call them three four times till they pickup your calls.

Good things first, its a small clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and neat. Food too is good at the restaurant and this property is quite centrally located. However the biggest negative is that none of the rooms have any window or sunlight. So people who have suffocation issues or fear of closed places should avoid it. Go for it only if you find value for money. I would not stay here again as it is difficult for me to imagine a room without a window.

the location, staff and overall ambience for Sarovar Premium is really good. But unfortunately our experience was dampened as the bookings got confused with Sarovar Portico and Sarovar Premium. It took the staff from both the hotels, atleast 40 min to confirm our bookings, the staff from Sarovar Portico (where our booking was) completely refused it and said you have been cheated, there is no booking under your name. Out of frustration and staff behaviour, we decided to stay at premium only, lost my booking amount in it, which the staff tried to adjust in my bill, but it was a unnecessary incovenience.

Food was poor , staff was so rude , especially the receptionist was so rude and harsh on her words . Amenities were so poor the room didn’t had shower gel and shampoo . When we asked them they bought in 30 mins which caused us lot of delay . And while giving also they were so so rude . Worst hotel I had stayed in. They should be 0 star .
