Spacious Vacation Villa in Starved Rock Country. Perfect for getting outdoors, exploring the area or just staying nestled in to enjoy this cozy home. So much to do within 15 minutes or less-hiking at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park (all season beauty), canoeing, horseback riding, river cruise, sky diving, feasts throughout year and more. Or kick back-eat in, play games, watch movies and relax! Whatever you choose it's a great getaway near Chicago and the suburbs to enjoy.
The space:
Our place has many extras....fully functioning kitchen with some spices as well; snacks and some bottled water-Brita in refrigerator, too ; K-cups, sugar and creamer; games/DVD's; welcome binder with some suggestions for things to do and places to eat; 2 lawn chairs and small table so you can be outside and more.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:We host other guests will allergies, therefore, there will be an additional fee charged for a violation of our no smoking/vaping or pet policies..We really like our neighbors and want to respect our community. Five stars because it worked for our needs. I was a little surprised it was in a condo complex with a bunch of other places right next to it. That wasn’t obvious to me in the listing. The kitchen had basics but not overly easy if you’re trying to cook all meals there. There wasn’t a can opener so we bought one. Just a note also they don’t provide any shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. It worked for our needs but we had to run to the store for a few things.

We loved this spacious, quiet property. We enjoyed our stay very much. Several options of movies and games were provided, which was great. We mentioned that the shower heads needed work, but otherwise, there were no problems. The space seemed clean. We definitely would return!

Great Getaway for Family
This was a great place to stay, super close to 3 state parks and a resort with plenty of outdoor and indoor activities for family of all ages. Our host, Tom and Team made sure we had everything we needed and were super responsive to all communication. The place had plenty of room for us to spread out and was nice and quiet for sleeping.

We saw some earwigs and were killing them so I think a pest control visit is in order. The king bed was very hard and not comfortable. The water in the bathroom when running down the sink smelled awful. Other than that the stay was geat the environment was cool and the property managemnrt team was informative quick and very nice.

Our family loved this cabin. It was clean with comfortable beds. Stocked up with EVERYTHING you need. Kids had plenty of games for enjoyment. Thank you to our host Ephemeral, he was very responsive and professional. 🙏

Wonderful place!
Thank you for the wonderful stay! This townhome is larger than the pictures make it seem, had everything we needed and was a perfect location. Lots of fun things to do right around the resort. We tempt enjoyed our time!
