Hotel Cecil

Small rooms but I had the corner so plenty of light. En suite was tiny, I had to breathe in to sit on the toilet and the shower was like that in a caravan. Probably the laziest hoteliers as they were hardly there and although I paid for breakfast, I had to leave early in the mornings so didn't get to eat anything. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room either and being Belgium, there's nothing open before 9 to get a coffee. It was clean and tidy though . Probably ok for a few nights but no more!!

Nice place for a simple stay in De Panne, on the market square of De Panne, 650 metres from the sea. Friendly owners, breakfast was basic but tasty. Nice to wake up on Saturday morning while the market vendors set up their stalls. The small rooms have everything you need, and the lift is a museum piece.

Heel middelmatig hotel. Schoon. Ligging is redelijk. Kamer zullen we nooit meer boeken. Super klein. Douche met gordijntje. Kleine ruimte. Belachelijk kleine ruimte voor een toilet. Gaan zitten en gaan staan is zeer lastig want de wastafel zit in de weg. 10 cm ruimte tussen badkamer en bed. Boven de helft van het tweepersoonsbed is een stapelbed gemonteerd. Dus stoot je je hoofd als je niet uitkijkt aan het stapelbed. Geen restaurant alleen een karig ontbijtbuffet. Wij zullen hier nooit meer boeken en de omschrijving van moderne comfortabele kamers slaat dus nergens op.

Winziges, dreckiges, viel zu warmes Zimmer. Bad wie in einem Duschcontainer, wo sich die Türe nicht richtig schließen lässt. Sehr Laut. Viele Mücken auf dem Zimmer. Frühstück ok, aber keine Veganen Alternativen und für das angebotene zu teuer. Service sehr gut und Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Parkplatz 15€ pro Tag. Liegt direkt am Markt, dort ist die ganze Nacht Lärm. Das Fenster hat sich nicht richtig dicht schließen lassen. Somit noch lauter. Man konnte das Fenster aber eh nicht schließen, weil es sonst viel zu warm geworden ist. Zudem war am Sonntag noch ein Konzert auf dem Marktplatz. Mit Grill wo der Rauch direkt in unser Zimmer gezogen ist. Überall waren Mücken, womit die vorherigen Besucher wohl auch schon zu kämpfen hatten, da überall tote Mücken Hängen. Wir hatten Zimmer Nummer 5 im ersten Stock. Das war winzig. Vom Fußende des Bettes bis zur Wand ca. 30 cm. An dem Seiten von Bett ca. 1m und 1,5m. Im Bad kann man sich kaum umdrehen. Noch nie ein so kleines Zimmer und Bad gesehen. Zumindest nicht bei einem "Hotel". Vom Bad konnte man die Tür nicht ganz schließen. Toll wenn man beim Duschen auf den Marktplatz schauen kann. Wenn man alleine auf dem Zimmer ist vielleicht kein Problem, aber wenn man zu zweit ist und der eine auf die Toilette geht bekommt man alles mit, da sich ja die Türe nicht ganz schließen lässt und eine Absaugung gibt es dort auch nicht. Der Ventilator, der im Zimmer stand war laut und total verdreckt. Der Service beim Frühstück war wirklich Außergewöhnlich. Es wurde sich gemerkt was man morgens gerne trinkt und dann automatisch fertig gemacht, sobald man zum Frühstück gekommen ist. Außerdem wurde pro Person ein kleines Croissant und ein kleines Schoko Croissant. Frisch aufgebacken. Wirklich schade, Da aber das Hotel im Vordergrund der Bewertung steht leider eine so schlechte Bewertung. Aber ich kann diese "Hotel" absolut nicht empfehlen, vor allem nicht für 130€ die Nacht, was wir bezahlt haben! Einzig Positives wenn man direkt in der Stadt sein möchte. Und der Service beim Frühstück.

Un séjour parfait au cœur de la ville ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel Cecil ! L'établissement est charmant, propre et idéalement situé. Mention spéciale aux gérants qui sont vraiment adorables : toujours disponibles, très serviables et d'une grande gentillesse. Ils ont tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe dans les meilleures conditions. On se sent vraiment accueilli comme à la maison. Une adresse que je recommande chaudement et où je reviendrai avec plaisir !
