Excellent babymoon at Royal Davui! If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting this island paradise! The highlights: - The food was outstanding. I read plenty of reviews praising the food beforehand, so I went in with pretty high expectations. Somehow, it was even better than I expected. Every single meal was flavorful and unique. They do a great job introducing variety to the menu daily, so it never becomes monotonous. 10/10 - With only 16 rooms, you never have to worry about anything being overcrowded, finding a chair by the pool, or waiting too long for your meals. You’ll quickly become familiar with all of the staff and likely the other guests, as well. It quickly starts to feel like home! - Snorkeling around the island is top-notch. There’s a great variety of colorful Fijian fish just off the dock, and the water is crystal clear. They provide you with a bag of snorkeling gear to carry throughout the week, so you don't have to worry about returning and fetching gear each time you go out. - The spa is small, but the masseuses were excellent! It was such a relaxing and perfect experience. The babymoon experience: - Being nearly six months pregnant, I was nervous about traveling to Fiji. Google has plenty of warnings about all of the things that could go wrong, but I faced no issues and quickly felt at ease. - I’m usually an easy-going traveler, but this time I made special requests one after the other to ensure a safe trip. Despite this, they were so accommodating and kind! I felt very cared for. - The biggest downside is that I couldn’t eat the ceviche, seared tuna, sashimi, etc… my husband said it was all great, and my jealousy was real! This resort is great for couples looking for a romantic getaway!
