Our second visit to Atmosphere and it was just as good the second time around. The resort hits a rare sweet spot between attentive service/ attention to detail and a truly relaxed and friendly vibe with zero stuffiness. The dive centre is super professional and organised with several boats going out each morning (special shout out to Lor for taking our teens through their advanced open water certificate), rooms are comfortable, quiet and set within beautifully landscaped gardens and the food is consistently excellent. The spa, daily yoga classes and happy hour cocktails at the beach bar were also highlights of our stay. Cannot fault Atmosphere - is a truly wonderful resort.

A tropical garden resort is not the first place you would expect to have an absolute fine dining experience— but the 6 course menu we had at Atmosphere Treehouse is in the top three of best meals of my life. Executive chef Jun outdid himself — not only was the presentation superb, the taste of each dish was clear and delicious. Sommelier Ed did an outstanding job pairing the wine for each course, there was a harmonious pairing of food and wine that is very hard to achieve. Overall, this experience rates 10/10 and I would highly recommend to celebrate and commemorate memorable life events to make them truly unforgettable!

It’s the little things……that make for superlative experience. This resort is part British owned and designed,& is also managed by an Englishwoman married into the local community. Loo paper can be chucked in the loo- they invested in a sewage system! After snorkelling a hot wet towel and hot chocolate are immediately provided. They built a school just outside the property. There is collaboration with a reef preserving NGO and dive training for its international volunteers.Every need is generously met before you are aware of it- in a beautiful setting with excellent food. There is wine tasting, fine dining and a cookery session possible too. Why go anywhere else?

We stayed at Atmosphere Resort for 6 nights in November, with another couple. We booked the 2-bedroom suite. It was huge with a kitchen, living, and dining area, 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and an expansive deck. This resort is gorgeous, I had looked at a lot of photos on-line before we came, and none of them did it justice! We were blown away! We had arranged a Dumaguete tour before we arrived, and our tour guide, Bebett was there to meet us at the airport. He ended up being our guide for most everything we did through Atmosphere resort, and he was amazing! After the tour, we were brought to the resort. At check in, we were able to discuss the things we wanted to do while there, and they arranged it all. We are all divers, and we did some diving. The dive center is top notch, and we pretty much did not have to lift a finger, they took care of getting our stuff and carrying it to the boats. All of the equipment is high quality. We were thoroughly briefed before each dive and were looked after well. Of course, the diving was amazing! I will say though, that the house reef just to the left of the beachfront is as amazing as any of the off-site places we went! It was great just to snorkel at, every day! The restaurant was great, and we ate there every day for Breakfast. Our favorite was the banana, and chocolate French toast. we ate there for 3 dinners and really liked everything. We went out into Dauin the other nights. It's easy to just walk up to the road and flag a trike. We went during the rainy season, and the forecast before we arrived looked like rain every day. We were worried, but it was lovely the vast majority of the time. It does rain a lot in the mountains, but we only had one evening of rain, and it RAINED!! It was fun to watch actually. We did several other tours through the resort. We went to the soup kitchen, which was a highlight! We went to Casaroro waterfall. We did the Valencia tour. We also did the whale shark tour and added the canyoneering which was absolutely amazing! Everything was handled for us, they took care of all of the logistics, and we just got to enjoy it all. I highly recommend Atmosphere resort for both divers, and non-divers. It is more expensive than other places in the area, but we found it to be a very good value, and worth every penny!
