Trotz langer Corona-Zwangs-Pause funktioniert hier fast alles einwandfrei! Der Pool wird jeden Morgen mit sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit gereinigt (das habe ich zu oft sehr viel anderes gesehen). Beim Frühstück lässt sich für alle was finden. Zwar bestellt man aus der Karte (nur ein kleines Buffet für Brot & Konfitüre) aber man kann es sich zusammenstellen wie es für einen passt. Die Tauchbasis versucht ebenfalls jedem seinen Wunsch erfüllen zu können und bemüht sich sehr, damit alle auf Ihre Kosten kommen! Unser einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Cocktails… die sind wirklich verbesserungsfähig, weshalb wir lieber ein Glas Wein bestellen ☺️ Insgesamt aber wirklich ein „Place to be“ wo sich das gesamte Personal bemüht, uns einen schönen Urlaub zu bescheren!

Great resort with great accommodations and helpful staff, coming back again. Perfect place to relax and chill away from busy dumaguete. Bungalows also perfect just the basics what you need. Clean roomy

Nous promenant sur la plage nous sommes attirés par le drapeau suisse sur le fronton du bar, nous demandons s’il est possible de prendre un verre en tant que non resident. Après accord et collaboration je demande l’addition 380 Php pour deux bières facturées normalement 60-70 Php pièces. Ainsi nous avons été surtaxés de plus de 200 % sans que nous soyons informé de quelque manière que ce soit ! Dès lors je ne recommanderais cet endroit à aucun de mes amis suisses ou autres

Don’t get me wrong, the room was outstanding, very clean and absolutely perfect….so kudos to the staff for that, really impressive. However, I was bitterly disappointed in the restaurant. The resort is literally within touching distance of the ocean and the only things on the menu were the generic pizza and burger options you find in any other average resort. Considering the size of their kitchen and the location this was so disappointing. We were expecting this rather expensive resort to be backed up by high quality food and we were bitterly let down. In addition the food we did receive was below par, bland and slightly warm at best. The reason I’ve given 3/5 is that based on the menu options and the poor quality of food, I don’t think I would choose to return. In addition to this there was a mix up with the payment we made via *********** and they charged us twice for the room. I am still awaiting a refund for this and the lack of urgency from the Pura Vida team on this matter is very frustrating. Great views and a beautiful room however did take the edge off the negatives.

Great location when you just want a quick escape from the chaos of the city. We stayed in one of the garden rooms with bamboo themed accommodation. The room was clean and complete with essentials. Loved how we can just chill at the balcony and have a relaxing time. The restaurant offers great selection of food with variety of cuisines available. We stayed for 3 days and everything we tried on the menu were delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating especially kitchen staff who go above and beyond even baking extra loaves of bread for us to bring home. We loved their home made breads! Resort guests enjoy free access to the fitness center and pool. Wish they would allow room service though, even just for pica-pica or meryenda meals. Overall, loved everything about our stay and will definitely come back!

Promenade sur la plage de Dauin, mon regard est attiré par un drapeau suisse sur le devant d'une facade. L'endroit est idilique, bar, restaurant, piscine, tout est tiré á quatre épingles. Aprés m'être approché du bar, je demande s'il est possible de consommer quelque chose. Réponse favorable, donc mon ami et moi commandons deux bieres. Après consommation vient l'addition: 380 Php ! Sachant qu'ailleurs le prix ne depasse que très rarement les 180 php, sachant que le prix de base de la marchandise est multipliè par plus de 4 (du jamais vu ici aux Philippines), je trouve excesivement dommage d'accueillir le touriste, revenant après deux année de pandemie, de cette manière. J'en ai presque honte d'être suisse comme le propriétaire de l'endroit. On est très loin du "zum wohl " de coutoisie échangé en pareil circonstance !

Very DISAPPOINTED with our return visit. The family room which is 12,000 Pesos per night has a broken lock and needs to be PADLOCKED from the outside and can't lock from the inside! The FRONT window has NO COVERS so at night when the reflective filter is useless passerbys can view directly into your room all the way into the bathroom. Also the hot water didn't work. I had to INSIST on having these fixed because the front office staff acted like this was perfectly normal. When we requested to be moved to an equivalent room when the other guests check out it was DECLINED because " It is too much work to move you." This is verbatim from a reception staff! The resort owners need to train staff better at customer service instead of beaury pageants for their 18th anniversary because right now they are APPALING! They ruined my stay and damaged the resort image. DO BETTER Pura Vida! I have included pics of the padlock and shabby effort with the curtain using nails and masking tape.

Have been here a few times now and tried a few different meals. Overall I would say that the meals have been only just above average, but they are expensive, which is what you do expect from a resort price wise. They do have a great view of the ocean out the front and have a bit of play equipment for children and a pool to swim in. Service could be a bit quicker aswell.

Sehr schönes Resort, mit stilvollen Bungalows im einheimischen Bambushaus-Stil. Sehr gepflegte Grünanlagen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöner Strand mit schwarzem Sand. Das Essen ist sehr gut und bietet eine Mischung aus einheimischer und internationaler Küche. Die Preise für Speisen und Getränke liegen über dem nationalen Niveau, dafür aber wie gesagt sehr gut , frisch zubereitet und bei bestem Service. Lediglich beim Frühstücksbuffet habe ich (bei einer Schweizer Führung) das Müesli vermisst. Tauchbasis ist direkt bei der Anlage.
