Atlantis Dive Resort Dumaguete

Definitely the ideal spot for intense diving while being pampered with high quality of housing. Food experience is quite amazing and the Chef will surprise you everyday. Do not hesitate to spend time at the bar where you will be warmly welcome. Staff is absolutely great and you will be surprised by everyone calling you by your name after hrs ! :)))

Can't say enough about this place. Great resort, great people. We were on a dive trip and heard great things and it lived upto and exceeded expectations. The diving was excellent mostly due to the enthusiasm the dive guide had in preparing us for the dive and the actual dive. Cyrus Cuizon was unbelievable. Always preparing us for the next dive. While on a dive he was patient when needed and genuinely happy for us when he pointed out everything possible. He searched out all the creatures on every specific dive. Thank you Atlantis for providing us with a great guide. Cyrus thank you. You were a true professional and you're forever in my diving lore.

Atlantis dive resorts are the BEST, I traveled with a group of 19 and they took the best care of us. All aspects of the trip, including some complicated transfers, were booked and executed flawlessly. From the moment we arrived in their care the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and like family. The restaurant staff and chefs prepared amazing meals and quick personalized service. The diving is INCREDIBLE and the dive staff go above and beyond to meet all of your wants and keep you safe (special shout out to Norway who was the best critter spotter EVER). I really can't say enough good things about Atlantis, there were honestly no negatives. If the flights weren't so long to get there I would visit every year. *My group stayed 5 days at Atlantis Puerto Galera and 5 days at Atlantis Dumaguete so if you see the same review for Puerto Galera that is why ;)

Highlights Pretrip communication electronically was proactive & thourough..do read the website esp FAQ ..lots of perfect trip planning info and links regarding expectations and guidance for travel Seamless conceirge dive experience ( besides analyzing your tank if you use eanx) you don't lift a finger to bring your gear on & off the boat Professional extremely knowledgeable dive guides finding all sorts of sea creatures in the much ( Warfi genie Alf wing jason junnar sorry for those we missed blame it on our forgetful head not our heart) Restaurant services know you name, food preferences & can adjust easily regardless of your requirements? ( vegetatian/ vegan etc)..Alfred runs an awesome service with bar staff..King made my expresso daily and wait staff during our stay Annie Rozy Rachel were rock stars Administration/ management from desk staff on point t ready to answer any logistics ( eg tours, room issues) under steady had of manager Joseph his assistant Brian and sales/ marketing Marco , Maribel for travel.. all made our grp stay pleasant & coordinated We were able bring supplies to the local schools & provide a donation to their efforts thru Blue Sky Education Project and do some coral reef work..make sure you support the local economy... venture off site ( highly recommend the red rock water falls hot springs half day tour) Housekeeping & grounds maintenance excellent..daily cleaning with smiles and true pride in their work SPA staff gracious, affordable treatments & appointments able to be done around dive schedule Camera & classroom topnotch modern spacious Resort itself is well laid out with luscious tropical feel flowrs, plants, winding cobble stone pathways( with updated room layouts, & good shower pressure with places to lay out your wet clothes ( reasonable laundry service avaliable) Dive briefings are organized & timely, divers have assigned spaces and rinse gear & outdoor shower area spacious Dive boat options whether bangka or speed boat are safe, stable & well-equipped ( o2 1st aid/water) with knowledgeable captains & crew I'm sure lm missing some names & other crucial elements but their tag line" come as guests leave as friends" is TRUE

This was the best vacation I’ve ever had!! Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff made accommodations for my food sensitivities. The dive crew was very helpful and always willing to lend a hand without asking. Our dive master Art was the best! He took good care of our group and made the experience fun and safe. The resort itself is gorgeous and well cared for by its landscaping staff. Housekeeping was meticulous and the spas treatments and staff were awesome. My only recommendation would be to have better conditioner in the ring. The resort offers a shampoo/conditioner blend but it still leaves hair dry. Other than that everything was perfect!!! Can’t wait to come back!! ❤️

We visited in a group of approximately 10 divers, and seemed to cater to mostly Westerners. The staff was very friendly, for example they learn your name within the first few minutes and greet you warmly the entire time. I was able to spend time talking with our divemaster and one of the servers, and learned about the local culture. They had a celebration the final night where they gave me a personalized shirt for my 100th dive. I had never been muck diving before. The first few days I was a little disappointed by the lack of coral, but at some point I realized I was seeing some exceptional creatures that aren’t easy to see in other places. We saw a banded sea krait, a sea snake, a wunderpus octopus, a bunch of cuttlefish, a few schools of squid, a lifetime supply of frogfish, lots of nudis, turtles, ghost pipefish, mandarin fish, and even 3 rare Spanish dancers. We spent one day at a nearby island with classic coral, which was a nice break. Also visited Oslob to see the whale sharks. Up to 4 dives a day, plus an optional nigh dive daily. So, lots of memorable diving! Just realize that 75% of the bottom is going to be silt, mud and rubble. Strangely, that’s where the action is.
