Silver Reef Dive Resort

I stayed at Silver Reef Resort in particular to do my SSI diver stress & rescue certification and add some fun diving days. The Resort: Silver Reef Resort is an amazing small boutique diving resort. The staff is very attentive and pays attention about the tiny details that you feel like home. The ala carte menu is nicely selected and the chef prepares as well some local dishes which are not shown on the menu if you ask him. The Diving: It’s a perfectly organized SSI diamond dive center and they can offer something for any kind of diver & diving expectations. From beautiful coral reefs @ apo island to local shore or boat muck diving: Unlike coral reef diving, where you can look around and appreciate the ambiance of the entire scene, muck diving lacks beautiful scenery and requires greater focus. Muck diving involves slowly and patiently exploring the sand to look for certain features, such as recognizable fins or eyes. It's an interesting experience that allows you to discover bizarre marine life not found elsewhere. However, the local diving is not only muck diving and you can see as well coral reefs there and close to the end of my first muck diving experience I was so happy to finally see corals and a school of fish again, which is for me the most beautiful part of diving. The Diving Course: Silver Reef Resort is a SSI diamond center and you can feel it immediately. They are perfectly organized, do instructor courses, all kind of SSI speciality courses and as well diving equipment maintenance. I always felt save during my course and it was a great experience. Overall experience: for me 10⭐️ of 10 and I will definitely come again.
