Hotel in zona Readback Books & Aboriginal Art Gallery, Darwin

We made a very last minute booking at Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront in transit from Kakadu. On arrival not all of the details had come through but reception helped as much as possible. One room wasn't quite ready, was not an issue as we dropped our bags in the other and raced to the water to cool down. On return everything was sorted. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking was so handy. Buffet breakfast was a hit with our teen sons. Checkout was a breeze. Would stay again for location, convenience and affordability.

Beware this place is not of the standard you would expect from Travelodge ,we have stayed st some quality T/L's but this one is not one , its nothing like a ” resort ” ( maybe back a couple of decades ago ) the place is like an overgrown rainforest , dead foliage everywhere dirty mildew paths , two pools, the main one open till late but unlit ,quite dangerous actually , both had spas (as advertised ) but non operating with no controls to be found ( and no staff to ask ) poolside Bar ( yes it has one ) but never open , no food no poolside service ( cans of coke at the reception ) resteraunt closed and not available except breakfast . Our room which was quite expensive ( we were happy to pay , after all its supposed to be a 4 star resort ). (LOL) room was likened to a 70s country motel you use for a sleep over , only 2 power plugs beside bed , one was extremely dangerous ,, and had black fixing marks around the points and plug kept falling out , not able to charge phones , mildew in shower and around fridge , no views of anything except mould around the carpark shades , we were booked for tours 6am out front for three days and 9 pm return , to early for the breakfast room, to late to go anywhere for tea , and this part of Darwin is a bid dodgy at that time of night , the T/L is located directly opposite woollies however a large mod of traditional owners hang around the entrance to BWS and a few guards , this is where we got our late night tea from ( only option) The ”resort ” is a gated hotel , thank god management did not fix the mould or the dangerous plug , they offered a room change at a extra $30/40 apx , but a smokers room it stunk , we offered $20 a night for it and they said no , all in all we loved our trip to Darwin but this hotel was very disappointing ( and I'm restraining from saying what it really wad like believe me) they offered us a $400 credit for our issues but because we booked through a travel agent , that was not possible , a bottle of wine was offered , we don't drink wine, do the other offer wad 2 ,TWO cans of coke ., so make your own mind up whether you would bother to stay there

Il mio secondo soggiorno. È un hotel di appartamenti favoloso Molto pulito, tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno incl DW e lavatrice? La piscina è divina La colazione aveva tutti i fiocchi? Il personale era più che ospitale? Abbiamo bevuto un drink nel bar dell'attico e ci sono stati serviti stuzzichini gratuiti? Mentre il manager si è fatto conoscere e ci ha fatto sentire i benvenuti? Adoro il posto visiterà di nuovo?

La posizione è buona e facile da trovare.L'hotel ha colazione, può essere prenotato in anticipo e è più conveniente.L'indirizzo della stanza è circa il rapporto di colore, sembra più vecchio, non troppo chiaro.

Questo è un hotel pulito e ben situato. Il personale è molto amichevole. Tuttavia, non c'è molto da aspettare per colazione, quindi se non si applica, consiglio di mangiare fuori.

Una grande gioiello a Darwin. semplice, ma pulita, molto comoda e una grande piscina. grande comunicazione e personale molto amichevole e utile. I bambini erano un po' spaventati dai letti sgualdrini che hanno bisogno di un approccio più stretto, ma alla fine hanno dormito bene. Proprio nel cuore della città e include parcheggio. Molto conveniente. Rimarrà.

Il personale era benvenuto e amichevole. Dinushka Goonathalake ci guardava molto bene. La settimana scorsa, dopo aver soggiornato per una conferenza, siamo stati più apprezzabili di una bella stanza aperta al parco, che guardava la baia sul nostro ritorno da avventura a Arnem Land. La nostra stanza era sempre fresca e luminosa, la moderna bagno. Abbiamo apprezzato l'accesso all'aria aperta dal piccolo balcone. È stata fornita una buona varietà di tè. L'atmosfera è stata rilassata, adattandosi al sentimento tropicale di Darwin. Prepari colazione fresca sulla terrazza o all'interno e un ottimo caffè disponibile se desiderato. Aggiunge un bonus per le passeggiate di mattina e sera nel parco lungo la baia fino alla città e nei ristoranti vicini.

Da quando ci siamo reclutati fino all'ora in cui abbiamo dovuto controllare il personale della reception erano amichevole e utile non poteva sbagliare loro (amorevole signore) molto spazioso 1 appartamento da letto molto pulito grande balcone vista sia della città che dell'oceano. Non poteva essere sbagliato il bellissimo personale di custodia del nostro appartamento è stato servito ogni giorno con asciugamani freschi, letto fatto, rimozione di bagagli. Quando ho prenotato il mio alloggio, ha detto che gli appartamenti sono serviti solo ogni tre giorni del vostro soggiorno. Considerando che c'è un bar/hotel non c'è stato nulla di rumore durante le notti. Il menu del ristorante è il valore per i soldi. Il buffet è di base ($20 se si acquista un biglietto da una ricezione hotel) vorrebbe vedere il menu a la carte del colazione indietro. Il mio partner e io abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel molte volte e siamo molto impressionati con il che in generale si consiglia completamente a tutti 😀

Mi piace il giardino e si sieda a notte piuttosto che la maggior parte degli hotel che hai solo una stanza forse un balcone ma con giardino tutto intorno a te è grande

Lovely check in by a sweet Asian lady and was so very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an expansive 2-bedroom apartment instead of the 1 we paid for. There was a really warm, hospitable and super friendly gentleman (not sure of his name, he is Indian and I believe has a name beginning with M... accept my apologies please!), he was extremely quick to help both at the carpark when we checked in and with our lift at check out. These are marks of great hospitality and creates moments which make returning a must. The kitchen was unbelievably well set up, and the washing machine and dryer was the best part for us as it was the end of our Top End trip. Thank You Quest, you far exceeded all expectations!! WHY on earth would anyone stay in a hotel room?!
