Hotel a Darlington

"L'hotel è molto pulito e la sicurezza è buona. Anche se la scala non è grande, le strutture sono complete, ci sono piscina, giardino chiuso, molto caldo e di design delizioso.Ci sono lavastoviglie e asciugamani, buona qualità e tutti gli utensili di cucina.Adatto per il viaggio a casa."

"Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Küche inkl Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Herd und sogar Backofen, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle. Sogar Frischmilch stand im Kühlschrank bereit, eine kleine aber ausreichende Auswahl an Tee und Kaffee und Rohzucker. Das Badezimmer war ausgestattet mit Waschbecken, Dusche, WC plus 2. Becken für Wäsche und Waschmaschine plus Trockner, Föhn. Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett. Balkon mit 2 Stühlen und Tisch und kleinem Wäscheständer. Das Bett fand ich bequem. Leider waren auf der Zwischendecke aber recht große Flecken. Leider hat der Safe nicht funktioniert, sollte getauscht werden, wurde aber nie gemacht, weil kein funktionierendes Gerät gefunden wurde. Der TV wäre zwar mit allen möglichen Features und Programmen (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon … ) vorgesehen, aber es konnte kein einziges Programm gestartet werden - immer Fehlermeldungen. Selbst nach mehrmaligem neu verbinden mit dem hauseigenen WLAN funktioniert nichts. Die Möbel sind teilweise sehr abgenutzt und gehören ausgetauscht. Teilweise kaputt und Wasserschäden. Der Schrank war so gut wie unbrauchbar, weil man die Türen, die Richtung Bett aufgingen, nur etwa zu einem Drittel öffnen konnte, dann war das Bett im Weg und man könnte nur am Bett sitzend in den Schrank kriechen. Grundsätzlich war es sauber, Geräte wirkten recht neu, aber es gehört dringend mal neu ausgemalen, Fenster und Balkon geputzt, mal die Decke abgesaugt und einige Möbel ersetzt. Personal war durchwegs freundlich und wirkte bemüht."

"Hotel Hacienda Redfern is perfect for an action-packed city break if you won’t be spending much time in your room. Although the room is quite small, it’s clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing does a decent job. However, travelers sensitive to noise should note that the nearby railway can be a bit disruptive. The location is excellent, with easy access to Redfern’s lively bar scene, and it’s only a short stroll or bike ride to both Central and Redfern stations."

Overall was pretty clean, and all the staff were very friendly. The Goki app was extremely easy to use and so much easier than a physical key. Would absolutely stay there again."

"When looking for a Hotel close to the center and to a major station, this one came up as the overall winner when considering price, location, and facilities. We booked two rooms, and the staff was immediately very helpful and responsive. In fact, I asked about a late check-in (after closing time) and I had an immediate, positive reply. This was confirmed at the check-in. The facilities are a bit what you would expect. Everything is reasonably clean, but the carpet and furniture are a bit old. The bed was ok, yet, I noticed that the fitted sheet did not reach the bottom of the mattress, which I found really bizarre. The room was overall quiet, although it had no windows, thin walls, and part of the roof looked like it was letting some light through. Also, I disconnected the fridge to keep it quieter. A kettle with some coffee and tea were provided, and some food from the previous guest was in the fridge. As many have mentioned, I did not see an actual breakfast buffet. For this reason, I preferred having breakfast in one of the cafés around the area. Finally, it does not seem that the room was cleaned after our first night, but I read that room service has to be requested, and we did not need it. All things considered, my family and I had a good stay. For sure, it feels like we spent a lot for what we got, but this seems more due to the area than anything else."
