Hotel in zona Sydney CBD, Darlinghurst

The location was right in the city, close to City2surf, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and we also ate at the restaurant on site which was lovely. Can’t fault Rydges at all, staff were friendly, we’d definitely stay there again.

Stayed two more nights after the Sydney Marathon. On the last night there was unexpected road work which was very noisy and was expected to continue until mid-night. The staff member at the reception (male with glasses) and the manager (Ms Sarah) on duty that night arranged for us to move to a room facing Hyde Park - the side that was not affected by the road work - so we were able to sleep. It was not easy as there were conferences and events going on at the hotel that night. BIG THANK YOU to both of them!!

Il servizio era pronto. La posizione era buona. Generalmente pulita. Solo sfida è l'ascensore; ci sono solo 2 ascensori e disattivano uno di loro ogni mattina non sono sicuri di cosa. Ci vuole circa 15 minuti per fare il cammino durante il periodo di picco mattinale. Stressante se hai un aereo da catturare, a meno che non pianifichi e fa il tempo necessario per prendere l'ascensore.

Le strutture sono state appena rinnovate e le condizioni sono molto migliori di prima. Sembra pulito e ordinato. Il bar esterno è rumoroso fino a mezzanotte (se vi piace ascoltare musica gratis con vari accenti, è un'altra storia), e il rumore della metropolitana leggera vi accompagnerà fino al sonno. Una piccola lamentela: gli armadietti si aprivano e si chiudevano passando la tessera della stanza, ma dopo la nuova ristrutturazione non c'è più la serratura elettronica, quindi dovete procurarvi un lucchetto🔒. Se non ne avete uno, potete comprarne uno temporaneo solo al supermercato Coles dall'altra parte della strada. In generale, offre una certa privacy rispetto ad altri ostelli della gioventù della stessa fascia di prezzo. Dopotutto, ogni persona ha il suo scompartimento e si ha il proprio spazio quando si tira la tenda. Altri ostelli della gioventù hanno letti a castello con struttura in acciaio, simili a quelli dei dormitori universitari.

Ho prenotato una stanza con un balcone ma quando ho controllato, hanno detto che non era disponibile coz il loro sistema dice stanza gemella standard e poi li hanno mostrati doccia Quando la mia prenotazione l'hanno vista, hanno detto che non potevano fornire quella stanza la prima notte, quindi dovevano stare in una stanza diversa, e poi hanno detto che portavano le mie borse nella nuova stanza, ma l'hanno finita in ricevimento. Questo sistema sbagliato accade già poche volte, ma non hanno ancora risolto il problema. Non sono sicuro che rimarrò lì se tornerò a Sydney. La loro posizione era davvero buona.

I recently stayed at Capella Sydney and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully done. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth the stay!

Ottimo soggiorno in A by Adina! Molto bella posizione vicino a CBD. Possiamo raggiungere i famosi luoghi turistici solo con il trasporto pubblico. Camera pulita e personale amichevole!

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel due to the variety of the breakfast content and the spaciousness of the room, though there is no view. There was a construction site just next to the hotel and I felt the air quite filthy in the room. The breakfast this time was not as good as my previous visit 3 years ago. The worst part is I was promised free breakfasts for two on my extended one day stay, charge to be same as Trip.com (with breakfast included) but in the end I was charged and there was no remarks with regard to free breakfast. I could have just extended my stay via Trip.com at the same rate but with breakfast included. A duty officer offered me that option! When I checked out I was told there was no such remarks and the manager said he would check with the duty officer!

We stayed in the SoHo Suitesz room type. The room was large and well-furnished, especially the kitchen, which was very good. It had a gas stove, pots and pans, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a small refrigerator. The bed was big and comfortable, and there were Different pillow choices, the room is cleaned every day, you can watch YouTube on the TV, the location is also very good, 10 minutes walk from the supermarket, 10 minutes walk from Chinatown, 15 minutes walk from Darling Harbor, 10 minutes walk from Central Station, reception The staff is friendly and quiet at night. Recommended!! 我們是入住SoHo Suitesz房型,房間很大,家具齊全,尤其是廚房非常棒,瓦斯爐,鍋碗都一應俱全,還有洗碗機和咖啡壺,冰箱也不小.床很大舒服,也有不同的枕頭選擇,每天都有清潔室內,電視可以選擇看youtube, 地點也很優,離超市走路10分鐘,中國城走路也10分鐘,達令港走路也15分鐘,中央車站走路10分鐘, 接待人員親切,晚上也安靜,推薦!!

Great location and overall an amazing stay, but soundproofing could be much better. Take note that there are rooms without the balcony , which I should have asked prior checking in. The hotel is in a fantastic location — very convenient and accessible, which made exploring the area super easy. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. However the housekeeping service, the blanket’s sheets were removed by us but she just left on the floor instead of cleaning it up and the vanity kit was not restored. (I’m not entirely sure how is housekeeping like in AUS, but it’s not the best) That said, the walls are extremely thin, and noise was a consistent issue throughout. You can hear people talking and walking in the hallway, the housekeeping trolley rolling by, and even the closing of nearby doors, which is surprisingly loud and jarring. The other rooms are very close to each other, so you can even hear the other rooms alarm(which kept snoozing 3 times from 7am) the doors do not have a soft close to when it closes it keeps banging— it gets disruptive. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might be something to keep in mind. But if you’re okay with a bit of background noise, the hotel still offers great value in a prime location. REMEMBER to ask if there’s any renovation works happening prior to booking (we had ours on the last day and the drilling was so loud)
