Rarely , I give hotels a 5 star rating but yes this facility deserves , right from our entry , we found the place , their hospitality , their food everything beyond expectations and I think , they are taking visiting guests seriously and whether it is room or the food spread they strived to delight customers , when I appreciated as a head of contingent that stayed in the hotel , they said their facility in Gangtok is better than this , I hope to visit with my family , you can stay here without much enquiries !

One of the best Hotels I have stayed in India. Has the best rooms with views. its 200 meters from Mall and in front of governors house. They give you grand welcome, make sure you are comfortable. Rooms are kept clean round the clock. Food is awesome. ample space for kids to play. The bar is also good. It was a relaxing holidays for us and i would recommend this property to all for Darjelling stay.

The beds inside the rooms are awful. Despite showing pictures to management (Mr Girdhari), they did not care nor change the room. There is no power in the shower. This hotel does not match the quality of the price paid. Having said that, restaurant staff and house keeping were extremely helpful. However I believe the management really require some further training in customer services, if staff under them can, why can't management. Overall, I would recommend this hotel only for food and beverages, not overnight stay. The rooms are extremely cramped, dirty beds with strands of hairs (see photos attached) and Luke warm water.

Our darjeeling mayfair trip was from 26th may -29th may. Mayfair darjeeling is small property when compared to the other properties of the group. We had stayed in Anderson block. The plus point of this block wS that the kids room is in this block and the minus point is thar there is no view from the room. The first day we arrived during hi-tea. They were serving masala muri and popcorn.. Our package included breakfast and dinner. Our first dinner was on 26th and the spread was not much when compared to mayfair siliguri or raipur nor was breakfast that great . We raised this issue and to my wonder their chef and F&B GUYS took special effort and gave us personally curated options.. special mention of CHEF ABU, MR. Bhuman and Mr. PRAVEEN. They made our stay very royal. They took extra effort and provided us with our liking and taste of cuisine. They even made us a small anniversary cake which was yummilicious.. overall our stay was very nice and that little effort from their side was enthralling.

We stayed in this beautiful property for 2 nights on our family trip to Darjeeling. The location of the property is very good as it is 3-4 min walk from Mall road. The rooms are good and cozy. The entire staff of the hotel deserves credit for their exceptional services. The food was also good. Tea and Jhaal Muri served in the evenings was a super plus plus. In house guests shouldnt miss this evening snacks time. Also the Play area for the kids was a bonus. Spa is cheapest here as compared to other Mayfair properties in Bengal which is also a super plus. Overall we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend people travelling to Darjeeling should look no further than this beautiful property.

Excellent work on housekeeping and hospitality. Food service was also very satisfactory and also very well taken care of hygiene. All the complementary things that was given in room was well checked and served to make sure that guests should have fresh snacks and enough water was provided in room for a day.

Lack of management and I'm highly Disappointed. Property is good infact superb as per darjeeling and location is amazing but the gesture is missing. I have done check in on 11 Oct 24. MY Room no is 405. Need more of ethical training towards client.

Great property with artistic interiors, but unfortunately, not very great view unless you are spending a fortune to get cottage rooms. Breakfast was great with darjeeling tea. Hospitality, as usual, was at par with other mayfair hotels.

The best hospitality, all staff are so well behaved. Best the ambience of the hotel, never seen this concept any where else. Most thankful I am for Giridhar Mohani to send me my left bag which had my camera intact well in time from Darjeeling to Gangtok. Superb effort.

At A Different Level in Darjeeling, in every way A must stay as schemes crop up frequently with complementary breakfast , may splurge, by cutting other corners, Just spend time in this property no need to go anywhere else, particularly enjoyable for elderly and kids
