Please go to Joshua in the front desk who will make you feel very much welcome and even offer you upgrades, and free welcome Tanzania wine and fruits! Shout-out also to Khadijah our housekeeping manger who made sure all is smooth at arrival.. Really appreciated! Room is classy, clean, and sharp! Hotel is in good location few steps from ferry terminal. Personnel are extremely friendly! Please stay here."

Fantastico

IImina OlgaNice hotel, with spacious suites which would be ideal for a longer stay, with Coco beach just across the road. Staff was very polite, friendly and service minded. Because it was not busy (just before peak season will start mid december) they offered us an extra amenity by means of roomservice. The first night we ate in the restaurant of the hotel which was good and tastefull. Breakfast could be better, a bit too plain and bad coffee. But all in all a pleasant stay.

JJNB_82The resort was definitely much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, but it was very nice indeed. Beautiful clean white sand, a lovely relaxing vibe, and generally pleasant surroundings. There is not much to do apart from swimming for my six-year-old, but that in itself was enjoyable. It was peak season, therefore it was a little bit crowded, however not to the point of total discomfort. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the restaurant food was mostly very tasty. Our one suggestion was well received, and likely to be rectified soonest. Nice breakfast spread - included all the stations, but the hot food selection could be a little more exciting. It would be great if the hotel itself could organize one or two activities. There was a volleyball and an attempt at a game the guests tried to pioneer which never quite happened. The rooms size is sufficient, nice big bed, my only complaint would be the fact that the fridge can be difficult to locate as it is very strangely positioned and hidden behind some panels. The central air conditioning seemed to be off in certain places, so it was hot in the corridors, fortunately the room air conditioning works very well. There isn't really anything in the way of fast food places and restaurants in close proximity, so only the hotel restaurant. This is fine for a few nights, but would probably get tedious for a longer stay. We enjoyed our stay overall, and would recommend and visit again!

UUtente ospiteHo prenotato questo hotel per due motivi: ora è un Marriott e il molo sulla spiaggia che ho visto nelle foto. Purtroppo il molo è chiuso e non c'è accesso diretto alla spiaggia. È stata una grande delusione. L'altro problema è che non c'è un campanello di chiamata fuori dalla camera. Quindi il personale deve bussare!! Se dormite o la TV è accesa, quasi non lo sentirete. Un po' strano, nonostante sia un Marriott. Pro: Il check-in e il check-out sono stati impeccabili. La reception è molto ben gestita e il personale è molto gentile e ospitale. La colazione a buffet era buona, con ottime opzioni vegetariane (che avevo richiesto e l'hotel è stato così gentile da accontentarmi). La camera deluxe con vista sull'oceano era piuttosto ampia e aveva un bel balcone. Anche se non direttamente sul lungomare, si vedeva l'oceano... andrebbe rinominata ”vista parziale sull'oceano”. Il cibo servito in camera era piuttosto buono. Inoltre, la posizione è in una bella zona della città.

JJNB_82To be fair, this hotel scores average because it is not a family friendly place Apart from having a swimming pool, there is absolutely nothing and nowhere for children. I was travelling with mine, so it was not the most comfortable experience. We travelled and stayed over new year's eve, so perhaps that was the reason for much of the discomfort, but without going into too much unnecessary detail, it was noisy, extremely hot in the corridors, lots of mosquitoes ( my 6YO was bitten ), no nets, outdated bathroom, weak plumbing, shower takes a little while to heat up in the evening, just generally poor, and not what I expected from a 4 star rated hotel. Staff were generally really pleasant, except for the one lady at breakfast who seemed totally unimpressed to have to engage with guests, but still insisted on doing so, then incorrectly served a dish to our table and proceeded to get snappy with us over HER mistake. Unprofessional and distasteful. Gym is small, outdated, equipment well used and not fully functional. Restaurant curry very tasty, huge dessert portions, breakfast spread sufficient, but coffee not hot, and had to wait for a chef from the kitchen to make scrambled eggs that took a good 20mins! This hotel is not a place to expect luxury or exceptional comfort, but if a bed and a place to be close to banking and service centres is what you require, this place will serve it's purpose. Pool is a good size, very clean, and night view from the pool deck is pretty.

RRoger HeegaardI had to stay at this hotel due to a flight complication. It was late at night and the reception was friendly. It is a very modest hotel but for the price it seemed fair. The air conditioning was struggling to keep the room cool but I did get a solid nights rest. It is a convenient hotel to the airport only about 10 minutes away.
