Hotel in zona Dandong Station/The Yalu River Broken Bridge, Dandong

The best-located hotel in order to see North Korea and visit the Broken Bridge, just make sure to get a river room. Binoculars are provided in the room to see into North Korea, which is a great touch. The service was decent, but I'm not sure if it's because the didn't speak English, but the reception just gave me the room key and didn't give me any directions or assistance on how to get to the room until I had to ask. The bed is comfortable, but the room, except the bathroom, seems quite old and in need of an upgrade.

Location ideal :very close to Railway Station ( 5 to 10 mins walk away).. Foodcourt, restaurants, shopping malls close by. Very clean and comfortable bedroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet style Chinese and Western delicious. Will definitely stay here again when I'm next in Dandong.

Location is great as it is just a short walk away from the broken bridge. There are also a lot of restaurants around the area. I could see North Korea from my room on the 5th floor too. While they did clean the room every day, there were actually quite a bit of webs at the window and it was quite gross. Hope they clean them up. Also really like that there was a laundry room. One annoying thing was that I had to bring my card to the counter to be activated every night I returned to the hotel.

Standard hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Easy to get around as there is a bus hub in front and about 500 meters walk to the river. The hotel is quite old, traditional and clean as it could be. The best part for me is its location. It’s the tall building on the left, once you get out of the railway station. It was raining on the day I arrived, and I was not equipped with rain gear, but could still got away with a few hundred meters running. My room was on 13th floor, facing the river side. On a sunny day, the North Korea side is visible

Il piano della stanza è molto alto. La porta è verde e verde. La posizione geografica è buona. Pulizia, igiene, pulita. Il servizio della ricetta è molto entusiasta. The hotel accepts foreigners. The location is very convenient, a short walk from the train station and from the river (broken bridge). Also lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room is very small, but it matches the description. So expect the bare minimum (good enough to take a shower and sleep, but not suitable for spending your time there otherwise). The biggest problem for me was the poor sound insulation - especially in the early morning (around 5:30), as you can expect to find yourself surrounded by tour groups that are rather noisy. Service was fine, you can store your bags for free. Overall, a decent budget option for a short stay.
